Basic question.

Some believe that ghosts are actually artifacts of a significant emotional moment. Like a movie playing over and over.

If this is so, that would explain why the ghosts captured on video or pics are in period dress.

However, there are currently videos (just youtube ghost) that show white or blue vapors circling objects. I believe these are real ghosts.

For instance, a middle age whitevwoman was killed in an auto accident, the junkyard where her car was taken to had the video cameras record a white mist circling the vehicle. I truly believe this was a ghost siting.

The long and the short of it is that spirits that join us and are aware would be a mist in my humble opinion.

The only ghosts I've seen where shadow figures.

It seems to me that everything anyone ever says about ghosts is fabricated. I believe there is some form of ghosts are out there but I don't think its like anything that's out there on youtube or for that matter most, if not all pictures I have seen. I'm turning into a very skeptical person on this subject.

No wonder they called him 'friendly.'

I dunno, Casper never seemed to have much going on "down there"...he couldn't have been that friendly, or maybe he was just poorly endowed.

It has been said that Casper was indeed very well endowed in life and the afterlife. He was too endowed some say. According to legend one night Casper got too friendly with an old man and got ectoplasm all everywhere. In disgust, the man grabbed his shotgun stocked with rock salt and blasted poor Casper's dangling bits right off. That's why today he doesn't have much going on "down there."

I guess I should have phrased this whole thing differently. I believe in the possibility of ghosts. Until someone can prove to me that such a thing exists, its in the same category as the boogyman, santa claus and the tooth fairy to me. I am fed up with all of the ghost shows and fake ghost hunters and all their fake methods, equipment, and "findings" that are obviously fabricated. Anything on television is just that. Entertainment. I invite you all to check out hauntedhoax.net and the hauntedhoax channel on youtube. Particularly "witches castle" part one and two.

If ghosts are artifacts of significant or traumatic events then why aren't there "ghosts" or remnant energy left at places left behind by people who are still alive? Surely you can agree that traumatic things happen to people that if they did in fact die it would have created what hollywood calls a haunt. Since they didn't die, its still traumatic and would leave those creepy negative vibes.

Maybe they have a union... and lets be honest, unclothed ghosts would be very hard to take seriously in the 'scare' category.

Well, a theory is that some "ghosts" are simply recordings of what once happened.
www.associatedcontent.com...
That's a perfect explanation.

Now, I believe there's more than just recordings of life before.
And not all of them wear clothes...
Some don't even appear human at all.

But just imagine yourself in your most vulnerable state of mind...
Let's say you're falling to sleep with a lot of stress. You're more open to fear and confusion.
Could compare yourself to a child.
Or maybe you've been suicidal before and again, felt like a child.

What if being dead was like that for a while? Would you really know that you were dead? Would you know you weren't wearing clothes?

Interesting way to look at it, I think.

That is actually a very good question.
But no one will be able to convince you.
If it frustrates you that we aren't giving you a more convincing answer, then you're looking in the wrong place.
They're all theories, and some are outright guesses and something someone saw in a movie.

Pray and pray that you, yourself can see, feel, hear "ghosts".
Invite them in.
Let your defenses down.
A lot of people would tell you that's not a very good idea.

But you're strong, aren't you? Ehe
For study purposes, maybe you should do it anyway.
How else will you truly know more about ghosts?

And how can you even know they wear clothes at all? Movies are meant for entertainment, as you know, so they certainly aren't a guideline.

Maybe you need this.
Open yourself up and invite these things in. See if seeing is truly believing. Ask them why they are wearing pants if you even feel like they're wearing pants.

C'mon, duuude..It'll be awesome.

Look, rarely is anything clear when you're sleeping.
Also, rarely is anything clear when you're lost and afraid.

Being dead must be like both of those, theoretically.

You can't go in some places, and in others, you can go.
If you've ever felt this feeling in your sleep, like, you can't go through a doorway, or can't get off something, or turn, or move correctly, it would feel like that.

Of course that's just yourself trying to move your physical body as apposed to your mental you in the dream...so who knows.

Just another interesting thing to think about.

Well I think most people agree that everything in this world contains energy (even inatimate objects). Some also believe that "ghosts" are made up of energy, and manipulate it to manifest themselves. So in theory if clothes contain energy, and "ghosts" are manifestations of energy, could they not manifest, and appear to be wearing clothes because clothes contain energy? Does that make sense? Let me know if it doesn't. Something I've read, and thought about a little bit. I'm not well ventured in sceince, so I don't know if any of this is plausible.

Hello my friends. Well, I have a friend who used to do ouija boards for years. He asked that question to a spirit on the board and he was told that "they wear what they died in". So I guess they wear the clothing that they died in. Also, spirits have a body like us, its just an energetic boy. The whole universe is energy. Everyone has energy/aura around them and when you die the energy is still alive. Your spirit, you now have an energetic body and no longer a fleshly body. They have hands and feet and everything else just like we do. That cold feeling when they come around is death. When you die your body gets cold and that cold feeling when they come around is I believe to be death. .

well, I think (just a guess) that whatever they were wearing is what they remain wearing when they die?

came back to see if you had replied and did have another thought.

Seems weird that if lets say a person dies and there clothes are wrecked or damaged, how there be reports of ghosts where they are wearing clothing that is not damaged.

as for clothing deteriorating, I suppose that is like the human body?

They have to be energy or apparitions?

What made you think they are ghosts? Maybe they might be inter dimensional Beings? Just like us, on a different dimension though. Maybe because the energy shift's are getting a lot more intense, and most people are more in tune, with energy than they realize. Or even certain areas have stronger current's. Or maybe we can see them and they can not see us. So many possibilities.
Take good care

Love and peace

Rick

Do you mean a tour of the town, or the library? How many ghosts can one library have?
I think I'm going to be having a little party with some friends on Halloween possibly drinking the Raki that I bought back from crete and then having a go at contacting satan on my girlfriends ouija board at midnight
