Ok so here i go

When i was younger about 3-4 years old , I was very very very close to my grandmother, we used to spend every day after pre-school and every weekend together just hanging out. I can't describe enough how close we were.

One day, i got the new that she wasn't very well, and that she had been taken to hospital.
A few hours later, dad came home in tears, and told me that she had passed away from a heart attack.
I can't really remember back that far, but i do remember that that was the saddest day in my life, the woman that had brought me up, was gone, just like that.

A few days later, mum heard me talking in the lounge.
She came down to find me hiding behind a couch in what she describes as a trance that she couldn't get me out of. My eyes were wide open, and i wasn't blinking. She said I suddenly got a very scared look on my face and started screaming 'I don't want to go with you Nana! I wan't to stay here with mum!'
I kept repeating this for 10 minutes until i finally got out of the trance and started crying.

Has anyone else had an experience like this? I'm very keen to find out because it sounds like she wanted to take me with her, which is kind of frightening.

Cheers.

Brady

Hi.

I very much doubt that it would have been your real Grandmother who would try to cut short your lifespan here on Earth, as we all have our lives to lead, and our deceased relatives would be very aware of this.
Plus, as she was a kind and loving person, I doubt that she would attempt to deny your parents the joy of watching you grow up.

I can see two possibilities here.

1. That she wanted to show you the world she is in, and just wanted to temporarily take you on a tour, but your own survival instinct kicked in and fear took over.

Or.....

2. Some hostile entity saw a weakness due to your bereavement, and tried to take advantage of it for whatever reason some entities do these kinds of things.

I can't think of anything else that could be the cause of this, apart from some unknown psychological glitch brought about by your distress at the time.

I have had numerous encounters with my deceased loved ones, and none of them would ever remotely consider hurting anyone who is alive, or otherwise, but it does confuse me slightly that there appears to have been a lack of protection in this case, and as a general rule, in my experience our ancestors do protect us whenever possible.
Having said that, I did have a few scarey experiences of my own when I was very young
Maybe it was just an experience you needed to go through as part of your life's lesson or something..

I hope this has been of some use to you, and I haven't come across too preachy, or insensitive as that was definitely not my intention.

All the best.....

Thanks for your reply man.
Yeah i too believe that she knew i was very distressed by the event of her death, and she wanted to show me that she was going to a better place, or that she was alright where she was heading to.
I myself can't remember the event, This is what my family around me at the time told me
Do you think a psychic or hypnotist could maybe tap into my memory and re live the experience? I'd love to see what I was seeing and feeling at the time.

Cheers

I think there may be a good chance you could discover a few things of interest from a psychic and/or hypnotist, but I'd be wary of many psychics, as from my (Pretty extensive) experience, there are a lot of con artists and self deluded people out there.
Having said that, I have also met and worked with many genuine people with genuine abilities.

I think you may get more personal and reliable information by going to a hypnotist, as the information you receive will be coming directly from your own mind, rather than having to place all your trust in the words of a stranger.
Don't get me wrong though. I have a great respect for genuine mediums and clairvoyants, but it can be difficult to know the difference between the genuine article and some scally on the make.
If you know someone who can recommend a psychic to you by all means go to see them, and also a hypnotist with a good reputation, as you may discover things from one, which the other may not pick up on.

Good luck.

There is a TV show over here called Sensing Murder, where psychics use their 'powers' to solve these cases that police and investigators haven't been able to solve.

One of the psychics came to out city once, and we went to her show.
After the show she allowed us to get readings. But we needed jewelry for her to read us.
Me and my little brother don't wear jewelry so she couldn't read us.
But she read my parents. And what she said about them was very true. And actually frightened me a bit, because of how onto it her reading was.

Maybe when shes up here again i'll ask her about this contact with her, and see if she tries to contact me.

That sounds like a good idea, as you have already had experience of this person's ability.

It would probably be a good idea to take a couple of things with you too, like a birthday card from your Grandmother, or some other personal article associated with her.
These things help to form a stronger bond with the person to whom they belonged, just in case you didn't know.

I think the main thing to keep in mind is that she would never do anything to hurt you, and all she would possibly wish for is the very best for you and yours.

Cheers.

I don't think I have much left of her things.
I do however have a huge rock/crystal that she used to use as a doorstop in her house, she had this for as long as she lived in that house. Could this be enough to make a connection?

I think i also have some photos, maybe a walking stick, not sure, it's something I'd have to ask my parents.

Cheers

Maybe the crystal, whilst being an excellent link (Crystals have a reputation for absorbing and storing psychic energy and impressions of people and situations around them. Could be why quartz is so extensively used in memory chips in the electronics indusrty.), it may be a bit cumbersome to cart around, but if you feel you could do with a bit of extra muscle the excercise might be worthwhile.
The walking stick, being a personally used object would also be good, as she probably had a good deal of contact with it, as would a sample of her handwriting, or the photos you mentioned.

Apologies for the amount of time between my replies, as I tend to circulate around a few pages and websites, and wander around the web a bit between making cups of tea etc....

Sorry about the late reply.
Yeah it would be a bit hard to carry.
Do you know if hypnotists can unlock these memories?
Pretty keen to see if i was seeing something

Apparently they can.
Many people who have had UFO abduction experiences with subsequent memory loss have been able to recall their experiences during hypnotic trances.
I think you will find many such things on You Tube if you do a search.

I'm just a bit worried that if i do something like that, I may experience something negative or it might effect my day to day life.

My mom's husband will go into trances every once in awhile when he sees spirits. It was bad when they were living in OK city, but since moving to a small town in KS it has died down alot.

Maybe it has something to do with the house, maybe it was connected to some kind of event or a spirit that used to reside there.

I suppose there is always that risk.
I've never knowingly been under hypnosis, but I think I'd give it a go.
I'd like to explore the possibility of past incarnations.

interesting story, i always thought young kids and animals had a connection with the other side so to speak. I have a 3 year old son and have always been on the look out for any such behaviour, but as yet i havnet seen or noticed anything like that. Dont know how id react though, it might be more scary for me than him
