the bible code is a sham. too be truthful, they should call it
"The Great Torah Wordseach!"

if God is trying to tell us things through some code written in the bible...oh wait...excuse me...the TORAH....then why would he use things like years, a HUMAN form of measurement. In truth, how could any prediction of the apocalypse have anything to do with a date, seeing how us westerners are the ones who made it up. itll be the end of the world for us, but anybody who follows the lunar callendar or chinese new year is safe eh?

and whats with putting in your searches in english eh? say i put in "twin towers" and i get responses like "september," and"11" and "plane crash," or whatnot...why the english bias? if i put in the spanish word for twin towers the torah wordsearch will probably spit out gian grape eats magellan. come on people!

I'm fed up with the bible code. I'm fed up with nostradamus (sp?) preditcions. i'm fed up with 666 and 2012 and all the rest of em! I believe in omens and signs for ones personal life, not some stupid crossword puzzle in hebrew telling us the fate of the planet.

All those codes are fakes, I believe.

One could probably find thousands of "predictions" in just any book, put some form to it and get the whole thing.

I was present when this question asked to Dr Simon Singh, who holds a PhD in cryptography and frequently appears on national television about codes, and he thinks it's complete crap.
You could perform it in any book... Moby dick prophosizes Diana very accurately (with some gorey descriptions), and several Ghandi assassinations...

all they do is set up mathematical equations to look for letters. sometimes you get phrases or words. it's just a bit of luck and some math.
