This march they were pitted against t 90 s and they clearly won..Indian army has ordered another batch of 124 tanks now total on order arjun tanks sum

That makes it great if there are roads on or near the combat zone. However off road or cross country is something that really should be looked at
since most tank battles occur in those conditions. Kudos to India though for a good world class tank.
From the picture in the article, I'd be concerned about a lack of sloped armor, especially on the turret. In the picture, the front and sides of the
turret look to be vertical as compared with the sloped armor used by the U.S. Abrams and other European MBTs.
well they are working on a MK2 version of arjun which will be out in 5 yrs..
They are also develping a NERA[non explosive reactive armour] for the other tanks of Indian army..
NERA will be user friendly..
