Saw this on another forum.

Its an oil rig. You can clearly see the lights reflected off the water below plus there is a very obvious gas burn-off boom.

So here is how it happened.
I was walking along hiding my camera.
Then turned around quickly to take a photo that just happened to have
some sky at ether side.
At first there might not have been a click so moved the film up.
After taking the shot immediately took another exact photo.
This ring came back in the first photo and just normal sky in the other.

You're right. It does look like that. One I saw did too and it moved the same. Reminded me of one of those little underwater submarines. You know - ages to turn around, make manouvres etc. When I ran after it with my camera I had the impression it was having a slo-mo panic attack to escape getting it's picture took. I'm 100% sure mine wasn't a bin liner though. It looked 2d when it first appeared. Like some unseen hand was wallpapering it onto the sky. Had almost a curtain of glitter underneath with a pink/red flashing light, that you could see clearly even though the sun was shining. The flash was like a curved halo in the air outside the body of the thing. My last glimpse as it went up into the sky was of a shiny silver ball. My neighbour was convinced it was a small kids foil balloon, he swore he could see the string. (But he came out his house too late for a good view, lol)
