Imo, this is just another step towards keeping "civilization" going until the rich and elite shoot out into space and leave the rest here to rot.

hmmm... when I read the OP the first thing that sprung to my mind was how TPTB love to hide things in plain view, but dressed up in different clothes..

I thought these experiments are not about climate change but about how dramatic solutions for solar radiation reduction.. as far as I am aware there are a lot of nervous egg heads studying our sun at the moment and I feel that they are starting to hurriedly consider all options to help lessen the impact on the earth if things do start to go pop over the next few years/months(??)

A bit like the thread the other day discussing the very expensive 'earthquake' disaster scenario in Britain, where 11 people have died from earthquake related incidents in a 1000 years.. as I say...hmmmmm

Sofi,

Thank you for that great addition! That is quite the conspiracy.
I see now, how they have got a total manipulation on many large scales at once.

Now, a powerful coalition of forces is quietly constellating around the idea of transforming the Earth's atmosphere by simulating volcanic eruptions to counter the warming effects...

HOUSTON We have a problem!!

Why on Earth are they even worried about Global Warming when the next Ice Age is just around the corner literally? I have posted this before but its relevant

Lake Vostok... a fresh water lake deep beneath the ice in Antarctica, kept from freezing by geothermal vents, has been buried by the ice for about 420,000 years. So what? Well scientists have been taking core samples, and like tree rings, each layer in the ice shows what the Earth's temperature was in a given year... by how thick the ice is...

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/e8bf7ab3f8d8.jpg[/atsimg]

Not going to go into detail here will do a thread on this but the point is what the data from the core samples shows...

Looking at the graph below, there have been six periods in the last 415,000 years when global temperature exceeded today’s temperature by as much as nine degrees. 10,000 years ago, the global temperature was five degrees higher than today.

So considering where we are today on that chart... I would say keeping the planet warm is a good thing

Well I put in a wood burning stove and laid in lots of firewood blankets and food

Just in case

Now about this new data..

I can hardly wait for Essan, Oz Weatherman and Weed Wacker to give us their opinion

We can count on it that whatever they do, they dont have our best interests at heart!

Zorgon!

Yes, why on earth are they fretting over "Global Warming"?

Well I read earlier today that Obama's Science "Czar" Holdren says now the new buzz term is "Global Climate Disruption"

So that when your Ice Age comes into play, they just can say....well, its "Disruption".

Now, great addition to the thread, thanks!

And, what about all of this new data. I feel like a kid in a candy store, where to start? Charts, Charts and more Charts.
Study after study...and hey how about that Stratoshperic Aerosol?

you know, here in Norway they scrapped a 500.000 dollar CarbonCleansing programme just weeks after the CRU emails came out by the WhistleBlower, uhh. Coincidence ? Could be ..

Regarding those Rings, I saw some one talking about this and he got to say that those rings can be made during a few days.(Not in glaciers and artic ice, but it goes to show those lines not nesseccery means millions of years.)
He demonstrated this with pictures of a car up in Canada that had been unused for some weeks, and rain packs the snow harder, then you get lighter snow ontop of that etc. you get rings, now, any one could say ' see these lines here, those are 10 years apart, on this here 1999 model' ... Etc..

Bankers do run the world. So what? Does that mean everything is false, and a conspiracy? It's not as if every single scientist has sold their soul now. It's that a few have, many institutions are corrupt, and a good chunk of the remaining scientists are too naive to know any better.

Even with all of that being said, this in no way goes to prove or disprove global warming. It's very obvious to those who are in climate regions that have rapidly changed over their lifetimes that this is occurring. Direct observation will always be the highest form of knowledge. You are free to believe as you will.

I think it is the cycle that earth goes thru, just like the trees, they goes thru cycles to, doesnt mean there is something wrong with the trees....And we shouldnt pay tax on Trees shedding leaves due to Co2 ...

It is interesting, is it not that ClimateGate proved them all liars. I have looked at many of these PDF's in the data base already, it is the same old garbage. Cap and Trade so that the smaller poor nations can have Global Dimming when they cant afford it! Its absolutely sick. They use all of the fabricated numbers that were exposed during ClimateGate. ...

But your name was bigger, blue and bold - it only looked like I was responding to your post.

Ice cores don't lie

As to Sulfur Dioxide into the air? Seems like a BAD IDEA

"When nickel-copper ore is smelted, this sulfur is released into the environment. The sulfur is toxic to vegetation. Carried aloft, it combines with atmospheric water to form sulfuric acid. This contaminates atmospheric water, resulting in a phenomenon known as acid rain. Acid rain erodes rocks and masonry, kills plants, and acidifies soil, discouraging regeneration of vegetation. In the Sudbury area, vegetation was decimated, both by acid rain and by logging to provide fuel for early smelting techniques. The erosion exposed bedrock, which was charred in most places to a pitted, dark black appearance."

www.sprol.com...

50 years ago there was no greenery for a 50 mile radius around the city. Today with the new scrubbers Sudbury is getting green again. I saw before and after photos of Pittsburg as well from the 20's and today

Yup a SO₂ is BAD for Veggies CO𔔖 is GOOD

I think these corporate bozos forget that their kids have to breathe the stuff too... we only have one atmosphere

I think you mean scientific data. They don't create physical evidence of AGW. In fact, I challenge you to back up that statement.

Believing that everything is a conspiracy is as absurd as believing that there are no conspiracies. The truth always seems to lie somewhere in the middle. Nobody has complete control over the fate of humanity. Not any one person, nor any one group of people. There are many elites, and they have differing views and opinions. The world order is much more sophisticated and at war with each other, than people care to realize. It's simply easier to think that everything stems from one source cause. What you're describing is anthropomorphizing chance and coincidence.

The elite do make plans, and attempt to steer humanity in this way or that. It doesn't mean everything our scientists talk about is false. It means that often times, we're not getting the whole picture. I think that people honestly couldn't handle the whole truth. If people truly could see their selves for who they are, they'd willingly jump off a cliff. Seeing the whole of humanity for how we are and what destruction we truly cause ourselves, each other, other life, and the whole of this planet? That's enough to make all but the sanest of us drop a nuke on each of the largest metropolitan areas.

After reading the article and the different posts, there are a few questions that many people need to be asking that are not.
What exactly are the long term consequences of the actions that they are propsing and the effects to the overall environment? Some of what they are proposing, sounds very risky and dangerous, as well as looks like it would cause more problems than what is already there present.
The entire climate change debate is overrated and questionable, as it turned out that the numbers were fudged, and manipulated, along with those who dared to speak out against such, threatened and told not to or they would face consequences for such. So that is part of the problem.
But looking at what all is going on, and the science itself, there really is not enough evidence as to state which way the climate is going. When this all came out, oh no the poor polar bears, whose population is exploding right now, and are starting to become a nusance to the population that lives in that area. We can not help the planet, as we ultimately are part of the problem. I would say that if the general scientist want to help the planet, then they need to is look and figure out solutions, that are not going to have adverse long term effects on the planet. The old saying, what goes up must come down, well if you put a sulferous compound into the air, would that not risk that there might be an increase of acid rain? If we put satellites into orbit, and something goes wrong, are we willing to risk a neighborhood or life, or even a fire if it crashes down in the wrong spot? It is things like this that have a direct bearing on what could be done and what should be. Personally I think the best solution would be to do the simple things, plant more trees, and plants in urban areas, starting to limit where we can develop to assist the planet in maintaining a healthy environment.

I didn't comment on whether sulfur dioxide would be an overall benefit or detriment. I have no doubt that there would be a ton of negative consequences this.

You never provided a source for that chart. Can you please do this now so that I may review it?

As for the ice cores:

The data certainly can be corrupted by several different things. Not thinking of this as a possibility would be intellectually dishonest. Furthermore, just because samples from one geographical location show trends in temperature fluctuations over a given period of time, doesn't prove this was the same for everywhere else in the world. It's certainly something to take into consideration, but just blindly following one chart, which points to one data set based on a limited area of the earth, and without links/references, doesn't really sway me!

I must admit that I only provided one counter source, so of course don't expect you to be swayed so easily either!

I can't believe people are saying "CO2 is good because the plants like it!"....
That has to be the most stupid argument ever to continue producing massive amounts of CO2.

News Flash - Plants don't like heat! Because it evaporates their water too fast.

News Flash - To much CO2 most definitely CAN raise temperatures.

News Flash - To much CO2 can make water acidic. Acidic water kills.

Why must you guys hang on to CO2 like it's your life? Too much of anything is bad.... we are currently making too much CO2. End of discussion.
