I must say for all of the talk about the TPM being "uneducated", not many from the other side are showing there superior intelligence.
You said-"if these morons had their way, we'd be in deep

Please note that uneducated and intelligent are not the same thing. You can be uneducated and highly intelligent, or you can be educated and poorly intelligent.

I know people who are more reasonable than tea-baggers and they're ordinary joes and janes too!

WOW!!!!

That must be some of that there more kinda superior intelligence I had been a hearing so much about! Yes siree!
Seriously though. If you are going to logically try and see which party has the worst economic record you have to look to congress before the president.
You have to look at the bills that were passed and if the said president signed those bills into law or vetoed them.

I think the proper statement would be that we can thank our GOVERNMENT for that.
But I am curious-
How did the republicans do it?

Why sir. How correct you are! All though my statement is not factually wrong I could have said......
The other side is not showing an over abundance of education them selves.
That most are over educated to the point that they have lost touch with reality and have little to no common sense.
That they are still in love with and brain washed by their hippy/progressive professors from college who indoctrinated them and turned their minds to mush.
But that might not appeal to some. So I will let my previous comment stand.

If people are stupid enough to believe the extreme right religious nutjobs behind the Tea Party are a grass roots movements, you deserve everything you get. Erik Prince and Sarah Palin, how can anyone be retarded enough not to see these people for what they are.

They are funded exstensively by conservative/corporate lobbyists, the same people who infact fund the rest of the two party system.

www.skymachines.com...

Get your facts right!

(I feel bad for the Tea Party, they think they are helping and going to make the country better but in reality they will do the opposite)

got the below from my relative, some good info on the debt cities being democrat run.

POOREST U.S. CITIES
City, State, % of People Below the Poverty Level

1. Detroit, MI 32.5%
2. Buffalo, NY 29.9%
3. Cincinnati,OH 27.8%
4. Cleveland, OH 27.0%
5. Miami, FL 26.9%
6. St. Louis, MO 26.8%
7. El Paso, TX 26.4%
8. Milwaukee, WI 26.2%
9.Philadelphia,PA 25.1%
10. Newark, NJ 24.2%

U.S. Census
Bureau, 2006 American Community Survey, August
2007

What do the top ten cities (over 250,000) with the highest poverty rate all have in common?

Detroit, MI (1st on the poverty rate list)
hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1961.

Buffalo, NY (2nd)
hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1954.

Cincinnati, OH (3rd)
hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1984.

Cleveland, OH (4th)
hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1989.

Miami, FL (5th)
has never had a Republican mayor.

St. Louis, MO (6th)
hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1949.

El Paso, TX (7th)
has never had a Republican mayor.

Milwaukee, WI (8th)
hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1908.

Philadelphia, PA (9th)
hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1952.

Newark, NJ (10th)
hasn't elected a Republican mayor since 1907.

It is the poor who habitually elect Democrats yet they are still POOR!

"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and
independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves."

The Tea Party is now becoming apart of our everyday conversations, but who are they really? They are misinformed, uneducated, paranoid, quasi-patriots, who are afraid of becoming a minority in America.

Oh lord, are they really? (Sound of screaming and gnashing of teeth)

Or, could it be... that they are your political opposites and like partisan gladiators from both left and right, you feel the need to discredit those who pose a threat to your preferred agenda?

No, it's not that. Couldn't be... not in a kazillion years.

You really want to know whose really misinformed, uneducated and paranoid? All you political zealots who preach a red or blue gospel, painting the other guys as being ee-ville incarnate. And you know what else? While you are tagging along behind your party platform, our nation is being sold down the pipes by both sides, hoping that we are too busy playing political warrior to see it happen.

Oh, speaking of minorities, that's what we're all going to be when our constitution is s**t-canned in favor of a globalist vision of a one world government. After that, you won't have the right to piss and moan about what the red guy or the blue guy is doing.

Thanks.

Sounds like you are a nervous far left winger. Afraid the tax and spend liberals are doomed in Nov.
People in the Tea Party mode are those who want to vote out the corrupt politicians and reign in spending.
BTW - You forgot what most people afraid of tea-partiers say ... 'a bunch of racists'. And that's
as well.
It's just too bad that the hard right Christian bunch are seeping in and making some religious waves ...
It could ruin a good thing that got started.

Another BTW ... as for 'uneducated' -
We 'tea party' - I have a BS in Psychology and my husband has two Masters (engineering and business).
My neighbors (tea-partiers) have a BS in Business and a Masters in Education.
Etc etc

Wow. So much BS in your post I don't know where to begin. Actually, communists and fascists have always been known as leftists. This goes back to the twenties. Only the bedwetting liberals refer to communists as being on the right. This is simply because most liberals don't know any better. Motivation for liberals tends to be the redistribution of wealth, hence more free government cheese, as most are incapable of making a decent living, as they tend to be incapable of accepting personal responsibility for their own lives. Most display an incredible lack of knowlege about economic principles, for example that every dollar of wealth confiscated is a dollar removed from the economy, or that when government simply prints extra money it devalues the existing dollars and promotes deep inflation. In fact, most liberals would prefer not to bear the responsibility about making their own decisions on health care, education, what kind of light bulbs to use, what kind of cars to drive, and the ability to surf the internet without big brother monitering every keystroke. Actually, O'Donnell is a college graduate, and recieved a degree, which is not the same thing as recieving a diploma. The actual peice of paper was withheld until loans were paid off. You see, some people have to struggle to get through college. I have a feeling you'll have some financial woes of your own one day. Call it a wild guess. And by the way, the deficit was around 200 billion when the democrats took over congress. Its no 1.4 trillion and rising each year. Obama has run up more debt than all presidents Washington-Reagan (42) combined. Whether or not you have the acumen to understand it or not, we're in deep sh#t, but you'll find out soon enough. You had better realize that as the size of government increase, the freedoms of the individual decrease. Not to sound condescending (that's when somebody talks down to you like this), but that means If you guys ever get your way, you'll have to ask the government if it's ok to take a leak or mow the lawn. Fortunately, your as uninformed on election trends as you are on other matters, so congress will switch hands in November, and the Kenyan will not win the 2012 presidential bid, in fact, he may not even win his parties nomination. He'll garner no more than 36 percent of the vote, as many of your friends now realize what happens when you put a "community organizer" who lives with his mother-in-law in charge of a once free nation. OOPS.

To become interested in, and to SUPPORT, the Tea Party movement, one only requires common sense and the ability to understand history and put it in modern context.

Do yourself a favor, read the story of this country’s founding. Read the documents that explain why this country is structured the way it is, and your common sense should bring you over to supporting this movement. No one needs Beck or Palin to convince them of what is right there in front of their faces, in American history and world history. Anyone with any basic sense can understand why the people who support the Tea Party and why it is inevitable that the founding fathers ideals must win out in the end or this country is doomed.

I feel sad for the young people today who are on the attack of this movement. You have been brainwashed by the schools and the main stream media and don’t even know it. There is no convincing you that you’re brainwashed, because you are brainwashed and therefore can’t see that you are a puppet of TPTB. Unfortunately, you have had a great disservice done to you by your education, or lack thereof. You shouldn’t be happy with how they have made you their slave, attacking those who speak out against tyranny.

I see venomous slams that those of us in this movement are all “old”. Yes, I’m 42 years old. You are obviously a young spoiled brat who grew up in the 90’s and you think you know everything about everything. We are all just stupid old people to you. Someday you will grow up and realize that you don’t know everything and you haven’t been around long enough to have even earned the right to criticize those who have more life experience than you.

As far as us all being uneducated dumb hicks… think again. This is the portrayal in the media which you seem to accept blindly. Personally, I have a masters of science degree (electrical engineering) and most of the people I know in this movement have post-graduate degrees in various scientific fields. One of my closest friends and fellow Tea Party supporter has his masters in history, his undergrad at WestPoint. At risk of sounding like a typical self promoting lib, I have a 158 IQ. I wouldn’t normally put that out there but the attack on the “intelligence” of us as a group can not go unanswered. There are many VERY intelligent people in this movement, but one doesn’t need to be. The Constitution, the history books, the federalist papers, and everything else you need don’t take a degree to read and understand. So go do it. Shut off Ed Shultz and go learn something before you start cursing those of use who have our own minds and can use them.

I try to stay calm when reading all these attacks and just keep telling myself, “it’s just a bunch of kids who don’t know their heads from a hole in the ground. Someday they will understand what a great disservice they are doing to this country that they thoroughly take for granted.” I ask you, beg of you, shut off MTV for a minute and go read some history and learn something; maybe we will see you out there some day rallying for correct side of this issue, the side that will help America survive. For the moment, you are the idiot.

There is a coordinated effort from both the entrenched left (Fabian Socialists, Israeli puppets, government leaches) and the entrenched right (Neocons, Israeli puppets, faux conservatives), to keep the "commoner" (you, me, the arrogant and the humble alike) OUT of power.
It only makes sense that the T.E.A. Party would be attacked from both sides, which has happened.
The misconceptions about the T.E.A. Party are simply what the left or the right, and their minions in the media, want you to believe. When someone spouts out something spurious (under 40?, sorry, look it up) about what THEY represent, or who THEY REALLY are, or anything not relevant to what the movement represents, I know they are either ignorant or they are Shills.
Certainly it is healthy to disagree with the T.E.A. Party, or any other political party, but since the initials stand for "taxed enough already", that might give you a clue as to what you are disagreeing with so you don't sound like a fool or a shill.
No?

That is, IF they can win anything other than a primary election.

They make the Democrats look good simply by exposing themselves as social conservatives in disguise. When you're against masturbation and you love bestiality and making fun of black people, you're pretty much screwed against the Democrats.

Thank you, tea party, for making it much easier for Democrats!

Liberal conspiracy?
Hmmmm not so much.
I believe in a Progressive conspiracy to "Fundamentally Transform America".
Progressives are in both parties and working towards the same end. They have totally taken over the Dem. Party and have a very strong foot hold in the Rep. Party.
Research and read brother. That is the only way to overcome what they are trying to do to you. Or what has already been done to you.
