Iran bans the Bong

The water-pipe is one of the most traditional instruments of relaxation and indulgence in the Middle East.

A social crack-down is due to begin shortly. Restaurant owners and people caught smoking the hubble-bubble on their premises or in public places will be liable to fines and confiscation of the offending items.

Also, Iran seems to have the same goofy laws the US does: it is not illegal to sell the water-pipes.

I can't believe they are doing that. America should bomb them right now so we can introduce our form of freedom to these poor souls, many of which will probably die during the invasion.
