I got "re-directed" here from another thread on this topic (with far less bias) and this is what I said there:

It doesn't have to be "Disclosure" necessarily, it could be a stock market crash, a HUGE earthquake/volcano/tsunami, it could even be the outbreak of WWIII; it just has to be SOMETHING!!!! Seriously, come on people, what's it gonna take?!

Of course he did. It's called equivocation and is the hallmark of such predictions. When the prediction does not come to pass, he and his believers can claim he was right for being wrong. Rare is it they make a hard prediction and stick to the date, admitting they are wrong when it does not come to pass.

Unfortunately, however, it can't get binned or even declared as Hoax untill 1 January 2011, as the timespan in the prediction doesn't run out untill then.

I would love it to be true, more than anyone, but people should learn from past predictions that this is not going to happen. He has not been completly stupid though, as he said they might not show on the 13th, but will def be before the end of the year. This will get the gullible interested, and he will sell some more books. And when it comes to the end of the year, he will make up some more BS like "they will appear in june 2011" and the gullible will believe that too!

It really annoys me that so many people are willing to believe anything

How many more of these predictions are going to crawl out of the closet? This kind of stuff really does not help the cause, it just makes a mockery out of the beliefs and hopes of many of us wishful thnkers.I used to sit in the pub and discuss this stuff with the fellas and they all laugh and dismiss it as B/S .I am now starting to take the same view as there is sooo much of this claptrap out there with NO substantial proof to back the claims up. And why do all these claims seem to come from people that seem to have channeling powers or a wack to the back of the head and seeing things,not just stars...

If anything happens tommorow i will be as pleased as the next ATS'er but im not holding my breath.And i suspect that if anything came to pass it might get a mention at the end of the news bulletins in the light hearted giggle section With some uniformed stiff saying its a training exercise of some sort or a weather thinga me bob..

So do your normal thing tommorow as the usual dissapointment after the time has come will wash over you and drive you to the next straw to clutch at... oh and the pain in the neck from the constant looking up will not ruin the next few days of the normal run of the mill boring mundane existance that is Planet Earth .... whoopie!

I think the reason you see so many of these types of threads around October/November is because (historically), there's a wealth of mythology and folklore that point toward a thinning of the veil that separates our reality from others around this time...

....just a thought

We are still the 12th October where I live. As I said a week or so ago , it is another false prophesy. It is even laughable that some people will give it until January 2011 to materialise.

For some to use the words :"if this happens" or "I am open-minded" or "perhaps" is a testimony of how desperate people are for some revelation. This is because we have a whole generation brought up outside religion but the desperation for some spirituality is overwhelming.
