Phage, the original when zoomed does definetly show not just a streak but seperate spots..

Is that normal for this effect? I zoomed to 600%

Rather than zooming a lower resolution image, why not use the high resolution image I linked? But even with the lower resolution image, it is not separate objects, it is a streak.

That would be a photoshopped image.
The COR2 images are taken at 15 minute intervals. The image before that one is at 09:24:
stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov...

The next one is at 09:39.
stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov...

There is no image at 09:35

stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov...

Your linked pics do not match the times you state..Yours are 00:39, not 09:39 etc..

You're right. I linked the wrong images. I confused the seconds with minutes. But if you'll notice, I also linked the directory with the correct images.

This is the image you are referring to:

a rather interesting anomaly to say the least!

No probs, this is the one I zoomed..

Does look like seperate objects, though objects is not the right word I guess..

Its obvious the OPs linked pic was played with but this is still interesting..

So, does this effect cause this?? I do know what a streak caused by a single object looks like..

You can only directly display images that are in your ATS media storage. So, you need to upload the image and then include it in your post with [atsimg] tags.
