I have a friend who campaigned like a dog for Obama.
Elderly lady, anti-corporation, gay rights advocate, dog rescuer, pays to spay and neuter pets in the neighborhood,
the soul of charity.
Absolutely thrilled that the first family would get a shelter dog.
Overjoyed that gays would get equal rights.
Ecstatic that corporations would lose their overwhelming influence.
Then came the gift of a Portugese Water Dog from a political dynasty, the defense of the DOMA, and an Oval Office full of lobbyists.
Now when the President is mentioned, her smile vanishes into a tight, thin line. It's sad. I feel sorry for her loss.

And I have a friend who posts manufactured anecdotal stories on the internet in an attempt to present a facade of discontent within the ranks of his political rivals.

He gets paid well for his work.

Can I get a link to his website? You DO have a source, right?

Obama knows his birth certificate has arrived from Kenya and has now been subsequently passed around Congress by Design. The CIA had always held this lil 'fact' as 'insurance' against him if he chose to speak 'independently' without a pre-written teleprompted script. You see Obama and his parents (Mother and both her husbands) were CIA operatives and he was bred in this atmosphere to toe the line of the international bankster class and their NWO.

Obama feels quite threatened by these new revelations though this has been planned all along. I wondered when Obama would finally come to the realization that he has been 'played' since birth as a 'rook' on the chessboard agenda of the so-called elite.

He feels very threatened at this time.
What will he do to protect himself from the populace And from those whom put him into power with the intention to soon take it away.
It doesn't look good from 'here'.

Obama had a Choice, he chose to toe the line of another without regard to the 'I' of it all and now he is to pay the price 'whatever' that may be. Just 'Observing' from here.

I am a firm believer in one's right to 'defense' not offense as one has an inalienable right to defend one's self at all costs when necessary. Don't forget this as it will become essential in the near future. Much chaos just around that corner folks. It is past time to have made preparations though then again, the sooner the better your lot from here forward.

Don't 'you' be pawned.
Try to learn from the mistakes of others as there are multiple examples.....
Take Care 'folks'.

I have to agree with your comment.

He's talking about republicans; fanning the flames of the dividing line being drawn down this country. If it wasn't on his official speech that appeared on the teleprompter, it was without a doubt, planned.

I bet he's talking about the Republicrats and the long time remark was referring to Bush being in power prior to himself for eight years. This is planned people. Nothing the puppets say goes unplanned unless it was a throat clearing or a stutter.

The president sure did talk a good game in the beginning. Why has he dropped the ball over and over again?

He could have gone down with the great presidents in history if he had just....... Not been swayed by corporations-----Told the truth not what people wanted to hear....Had honest men and women around him........ Stopped the wars......Bridged the gap in racial divisions........Stopped bailouts.....Stopped the erosion of freedoms.......

He could have had a great legacy. But he has nothing but lies and more lies. This is not the legacy the first Black president of the USA should have.
If I Was him I would feel ashamed for myself and what I could have been.

Notice the word "not always happy with me"

I voted for Obama knowing full well that he was being bought by Wall Street. The OTHER option was John McCain -- who was bought and sold long ago.

I do think he is trying to do some good. Maybe some of his belief system, is too close to the "Chicago School" -- the Robber barons who preach that no limit on CEO profits and no minimum wage that enforces a living wage.

I can understand how frustrated he must be now, trying to "compromise" with representatives who are either embarrassed crooks or self-righteous crooks. The Media supports the interests of its advertisers.

>> And in my opinion -- there is nothing so bad that Republicans and their sponsors can't screw it up worse. If you want to beat down Obama -- you want to support those who treat him like a dog after he's given them so much of the People's wealth. The Supreme Court decision to allow money as free speech will allow unfettered corruption and "public interest messages" to give us a more corrupt Congress and Senate.

“Talk To Me Like a Dog” – Written and Sang By Jimmy Hendrix.

I'm sure his speech writer stole this from the Jimmy Hendrix song .

"Every day in the week I'm in a different city. If I stay too long people try to pull me down. They talk about me like a dog, talking about the clothes I wear, but they don't realize they're the ones who's square."

My dog speaks to me in dog. Ruff, Ruff- Translation. No more 50 billion stimulus. Ruff...Ruff Ruff. You’re all going to be eating dog food soon.

I hate to be the one to tell you but they are all the same party. Republicans and Democrats is just a game they made up for the sheep to play.

Look at there actions not there words. The patriot act and the wars continuing should be enough proof for any one. They are all controlled by the same exact money. All the rest is for the simple minded to argue over endlessly.

How nice that your friend has a job. It's fortunate that he found a well paid position manufacturing facades, considering how the market is presently glutted by genuine discontent within the ranks of Obama's political rivals.

What he says

"that means taking on some powerful interests in Washington who have been dominating the agenda in Washington for a very long time, and they are not always happy with me, ...they talk about me like a dog...that's not in my remaks, but that's true, ....stopping companies from charging hidden fees and unfair rate hikes...they aren't happy with it, but it was the right thing to do.

He is clearly stating that he is taking on these groups that ran Washington under the GW admin.

This is a good speech, and he is right on the money.

President Obama came into office idealistically thinking that he could get the opposition to work WITH him FOR the American people (includes Me) and only now, very late in the game, is he realizing that they are a viscious pack, only self interested, and will do ---anything--- to undermine someone who cares about people.

Kennedy actually started the process when he was killed and I think Obama has woken up indeed and is not liking what he sees and is starting to step forward on matters without the consent of those who backed him. Just my 2 cents though. Could be wrong but it is possible.

"They talk about me like a dog"...Well?

What's going to be really interesting when he leaves office after *4* years is his "List of Pardons"

Maybe he would have liked it better if we called him a little whining baby???

Man up! Take RESPONSIBILITY of the position and tackle the hard stuff.

Quit yer whining and stop blaming everything on everyone else...

imo

His comment merely confirms the fact that he cannot take any criticism. Any thing less than adoration by his fans is unacceptable to him. When I think of all the things that detractors called George Bush, all I can do is laugh at his "surprise" that perhaps not everyone is enamored of him. If you can't stand the heat, Obama, get out of the kitchen. Joe Biden is more of a man, than Obama will EVER be. I'm sure that Joe can take the heat.

Well, when you think about a Presidents eight year shelf-life versus a career Senator. Or a coalition of them...

Then again maybe Obama might do what Kennedy, IMO was considering doing - and out the real powers behind the throne.

That would be cool if he did. He'd gain a lot of respect from both sides if he did that. But his life would certainly be in the danger-zone!

You are wrong... this is NOT THE FIRST TIME! JFK made a rogue speech about "Secret Societies" and he said that he would tell everything to the public before the end of his term! Now we know WHY he was killed... We also know why Reagen was shot by his Secret Service Agent after he dodged one bullet, says he didn't feel any pain til he was thrown into the car. After that, he straightened up and did what they wanted.

Reagan was hit by a riccochet bullet off the bulletproof glass you dolt!
