Seriously. I wonder when I hear or read people say "wake up" what do they actually mean? Am I not awake because I pay taxes and want the things(nice
home, family, and friends) in life that everyone else does. And what qualifies as an awakening? Is it like "now that I know Obama has stock in
BP...I'm not going to vote for him"...
Or is it something deeper. What could a person awoken from years of "programming/brainwashing" possibly do...on their own? Seems to me that people
come on the internet for a meeting of ideas and different perspectives but what do they do in the every day world?
That same person shouting wake up in all caps is the same one thats at the Dunkin Donuts foaming at the mouth because they didn't put a shot
of hazel nut in his coffee. Or even worse he is the same person that would rather collect unemployment until a job of his liking pops up instead of
take a regular job like people should do.
So what qualifies as an awakening? A complete break down of the system? Anarchy? Or just total agreement to any and every conspiracy theory out there?
