The drop-down menus don't stay down long enough for me to select anything. Very aggravating. Looks great though!!!

ATS and BTS Has merged!!!

And it's been done in such an amazing way where both parties should be happy.

They do not compete against each other in any way shape or form.

Work in Progress but I want to complaint because my right ( although i rarely excise it
) to rant without concern with conspiracy idea is now been taken away.

As long as your mouse pointer remains over the green drop-down menu, it should remain as long as you like.

Try going thru the menu slower and it should stay up...it worked for me.
On my end i think the bugs are finally worked out.

Works fine for me, drop down stays when mouse is over it, using the latest Firefox, not tested it in IE/Chrome/Safari yet.

I want something to be done with the massive burning blue Nickelodeon Fisher-Price "my first menu bar" thing.

Now that was funny.

I kinda liked it, it draws your attention, but remember this is still a work in progress as they update the site little by little, so this might change. We will have to wait and see.

I know it's not done yet, but please don't forget about the "TOP" link on the bottom of the page so we don't have to scroll all the way back up. I'd be really lost without that.

I just did a little side by side comparison of the site in Firefox 3 and IE8.
The drop down menus are a little bit more temperamental in IE, they work but I had to try a couple of times as they disappeared.

Cross browser compatibility is one of the hardest things to iron out on any site, even simple ones so ATS is doing pretty well in my opinion

Ya have to hook into them almost, then roll down, it's like with many of the states websites I use to have to go to before my job got outsourced to India.

The "live real time headlines" could be a longer list. The old firehoses list was long enough that if you went to bed, you didn't miss anything that came in overnight.

Maybe real time headlines could lengthen up a bit?

So far, finding all else is good, google chrome as a browser, everything is working good, so far

I agree with the above poster, Please do not forget the Top button at the bottom of the page.

I don't know why some people are going on about not liking this, I barely notice a difference at all.

Yet.

I was about to post this
IE8 is definitely temperamental, works fine in Chrome and Safari.

I don't mind the new layout with the one big exception of the drop down menus. It seems to be the 'in' thing for sites these days but I truly find them annoying. Please revert back to the old menu bar instead. Other than that, looks great!

I only very slightly experience this, i'm IE8
after experiecing it I could not reproduce the problem
Now it just keeps working perfectly

One thing I can say though is when I slightly experienced what you experienced is when I hovered over a blade and as soon as the drop down started to appear, keyword started as opposed to finished lining up, i moved too fast to chose my subsection.

I cannot reproduce the issue, however I think you have to wait for the sub-sections to line up.

How does that work for you if you try it?

thx

For me in IE8 the issue occurs if I hover over the box and then leave the hover and move it to a lower point on the page and then go back to it again. Sometimes the menu drops down, sometimes it starts maximized and then scrolls up and about every 5th time it disappears completely

Try hovering so the menu appears then move the pointer down so it closes and then move up to the menu again a few times.
