Is it possible to make a request for a seperate Breaking News Fire-Hose?

I loved that feature to quickly get a overview if something was already posted and what time it was posted.

OK! now everything is collected together, but it takes some more time to search for all Breaking News Posts since they are now mixed with the other forums Fire-Hose posts.

Love everything else, but this would be at the top of my wishlist!

Yikes, the fact that you even know who that is, is rather scary. I had to Google his name

Just wondering why the thread is titled "Entire Website Has Changed...." if it is just the top?

Anywho... looking good

Can we please bring back the button on the bottom of the page labeled as "top"? I'm missing that soooo bad.

BUG REPORTS:

3. Scroll down menus. Since the text is now so huge and my Internet window size is personalized; only the TOP part of the menu list is selectable. It won't scroll and show me the complete list.

For instance the menu item "Forums" - the furthest down the menu I can select is "New World Order". Nothing beneathe that is selectable because it won't scroll. (Same with other menu items.)

It still won't scroll to the bottom of the menu.

Vista
IE8

New Bug Report Added with this Edit.

I posted this, then logged out the FIRST time (it always makes me log out twice) and it was the old style menu and it showed I have a U2U. I clicked it; but, logout was too far along so it sent me to a regular page all logged out.

So, I logged back in to check U2U and can't get U2U on my menu items nor can I scroll down the Member Tools menu item far enough to select U2Us.

Please read the entire thread. This has been brought up many many times.

Again, the changeover is a work in progress. It is not complete.

ARRRGGHHH!!!!!!

So much to see, so much to do! So much to find! Where did this go, where did that go???

my computer literacy is being tested. and those buttons are huge.

where are my u2u's? oh, there they are under "more" in the member tools.

And, yes, i know the cross-over is not complete! I have not been reading many threads recently or contributing much, i'm still fishing around trying to get used to the changes and placement of stuff.

It looks a little strange, but i have been able to adapt to the changes in the past.

My reaction when I first opened up ATS today, was that I thought I was NOT on the Homepage. I think that the new homepage is a bit blah and hard to zero in on the recent topics and comments. I agree with another comment on this thread that the color blocks were helpful (and added some punch to the Homepage). It is not terrible but I think it could use some work. I am not a web designer, however, I am a trained Graphic Designer/Artist and that is my two bits!

If you use the Recent Posts tab (even bookmark it) then you dont have to use the home page

EU obscure bug report #198230912039:
  1. Rate a post
  2. Rate it again so that you see "error: you can not rate that post"
  3. Go to a dropdown menu; it will be hidden behind the main content area with all items inaccessible by pointer!

Just wondering / thinking--will there be like a mass u2u when it's all completed? If people know something like that is the sign it's done, maybe they will chill a bit...

Well we all knew this revamp was coming. I understand that ATS has to make changes to grow but I don't know if I'm digging the new look. It will take awhile to get used to it of course. My initial feeling is its a bit complicated to navigate and kinda loud looking.

I'm sure it will grow on me

Ok well I really dont like this new design i love the old one. Is there anyways we can switch it back to the previous one? Id really like to be able to keep it the same as it has been for me before, it was really nice and pleasing to navigate and I also hate the brightly colored bars as they bother my eyes. Someone help me find a way to change it back and if i cant maybe we should suggest a way to keep the old design.

I quite like it so far, seems a little buggy in parts, but as said, it's not quite complete.

Be careful though, have you seen what happened to Digg this week? They changed their whole design and all the users are rebelling, to the point that Alexa is reporting a 30% drop in visits, and the comments on almost all articles are people bitching!

For real, what is the specifics on what there is NOT to like? Why do some people not like it? What exactly is it that you do not like? I barely notice any changes at all! Mostly cosmetic so far.

If they dont already have this there should be a way to switch to the old site design aswell.
