I look for the strong possibility that Bush will try to use the same thing in the US...If not openly (through enforcment of the Homeland Security Act), then covertly (through the FBI, FEMA and/or other intelligence or military agencies).

It's a good idea. What a better way to stop crime than to prove that you commit the crime, you pay. These people are guilty of the crime, they made the decision to risk it.... CYA!! In the U.S. we should give the convicted only one appeal.... if they are found guilty of murder, attempted murder, or any other serious crime for the second time the bullet in the head is really the way to go. We gotta clean this earth up! Not by genocide of the innocent, but executing the guilty.

Now they are only killing 15,000 per year, which won't make a dent in the 1 bill pop. If they up the rate to maybe 150 mill a year then we could see some real progress in China.

Maybe America could pay for some more vans....
