What are these at yosemite ?

One of my work colleagues got maried and went on her honeymoon to the US of A

While she was there she visited Yosemite Park

She took some photos of the beautiful sunset but when she got home and put them on her PC she noticed on a couole of them that there were some unexplained markings on them.

they are in my photos album under my profile if this dont work !

Anyone have any idea what they are ? tricks of light ? lens flare?

I said I would ask for her as she is baffled !! (She is a photographer herself)

Im assuming you mean the white images in the sky.

They look like clouds and light reflecting off of them. I also see what could be a contrail with the same light reflection.

Jet contrails. There's thousands of them across the country during the day.

And that's why they call it flyover country.

Full on double rainbow perhaps?

I agree with the direction of greeneyedleo's commentary.

Notwithstanding the images are very small.....

I think the images show contrails being illuminated by a very low angle sun.

The dissipation of the contrails being shown in the latter photo are typical of such a contrail being spread out in the wind.

I'll try & find you a YT video or a picture of this for your reference.

Im gonna have to agree. Its clouds for sure. Its funny how someone can look at clouds at times and pretty much see what they wanna see.........
