that bird has an interesting way of making new friends.

Just wanted to share some more info about this clip with you guys.

The man getting loved up by the parrot is Mark Carwardine a zoologist and photographer ...

can we add "G-Rated Beastiality enthusiast" to that resume?

That's what I was wondering....was it for the sake of science to observe this creatures mating behaviors, whether the recipient was parrot or not? Or was the guy scared any sudden movement would make the bird dig deeper....talons that is.

Here's some shots I took of Sirocco (I'm almost certain the same bird as in the video in OP) when we had a very rare visit up from the south island. To me the closest creature in mannerism and movement is a cat funnily enough, especially when he's gingerly poking around atop a ponga tree. I must apologise for the lighting (dark cage with only light in the middle), the focus and the shot positioning, I only had half a hand and an elbow at this stage after an operation! Sirocco is very human friendly as you can see by his interaction, infact it thinks humans are more his kind that his own, particularly females... hence the 'humping'..

And to top it off, they make loud booming noises which can be heard kilometers away in mating season.

It must be time. It's the end of the world. AHHHHHH! Even the 5lb parakeets are getting in on it now.

21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.

Exotic AND Erotic : The Kakapo!

SQUAWK "Was it good for you?" SQUAWK

Does Polly only want a cracker or does he do interracial?

The scientist was pleased that at least he was shagged by one parrot, and not a cock-a-too.
