STOCKHOLM (AP) -- A senior Swedish prosecutor reopened a rape investigation against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on Wednesday, the latest twist to a puzzling case in which prosecutors of different ranks have overruled each other.

Assange has denied the allegations and suggested they are part of a smear campaign by opponents of WikiLeaks - an online whistle-blower that has angered Washington by publishing thousands of leaked documents about U.S. military activities in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I personally support Assange and believe that this is nothing more than a CIA attempt to keep the pressure on Assange with their usual bag of dirty tricks.

However, I'd like to find out more about these two ladies who are pressing these charges and would hope some of our more scholarly Swedish members could help out here in the event that their claims are genuine without being the crucible of a shill smear job.

Thought the case was dropped originally? but anyway according to the source they class it as 'sexual molestation'? sorry but thats not rape in my book, both are heinous crimes I know but at least they could get their stories straight which is it?
And Yes I think its a smearing circus, coz once the poop hits it's very hard to get rid of unless Assanges lawyers can prove the women took money or bribes to fabricate this and the papers ( which we KNOW are owned by the military industrial complex) are over sensationalising to make the public wary of Julian.?

If Assange is the real deal, and not a CIA plant, this guy has started a war in which i dont think he quite fully understands what he's got himself into.

Intelligent people will pay no mind to this nonsense and see it for what it is. Sadly intelligent people are a minority.

Agreed... I was on break at work the other night and there were several folks in there tuned in to Faux news.. I despise mainstream news and tune it out when i'm in there but I overheard the name of Assange mentioned.. They had a little snippet about this "molestation" charge in there and of course they tied him directly to the collateral murder video and how it "endangers our troops"... Just enough to make the sheeple who know little about it think he's some kind of criminal..

Regardless, I know for a fact that these people watching this news show know absolutely nothing about wikileaks yet, they see this little news segment and it starts this conversation about they need to take this guy down and how he's getting soldiers killed and all this other garbage. It just shows that the MSM and these very segments exist for THAT reason. To ensure divisiveness and to think FOR you....

Unfortunately not a legal-scholar but I live in Sweden for the moment though - so maybe I can chime in here.

Yeah the situation is quite crazy right now - the chief prosecutor had dropped the rape charges, and the women's lawyer went beserk and protested loudly against this and demanded that the case would be re-opened.

So a special group of prosecutors who were appointed to look over the case since the lawyer protested, yesterday took the decision to reopen the case with the full charge of rape!

And the Swedish Legal Scholars are baffled by all these different female prosecutors and their different actions regarding this case.


Here's what REALLY is suspicious about the 31 y.o woman Anna Ardin (who is one of the women) the rabid radical feminist who slept with Assange voluntarily.

She has written tons of articles and strange blog-posts about rape - and she was also once a research assistant at one University where one WHOLE department + the female professor, are hardcore radical feminists who hate men in general.

On her blog she had before written a 7 Step Guide To Legal Revenge

She had also written posts earlier this year about a hypothetical rape case, and she wondered:

"Is it possible to get a man charged/convicted of rape even if the sexual act started out voluntarily - and even if there had been no violence/threats or force during the sexual act? - and if so, how do you do to get him charged/convicted?"

That is what she asked her radical feminist friends on the blog

Some web dectives from a Swedish forum have copies of every page from her blogs which she closed down to clean up when Assange was charged.

So here you have a radical feminist who has been blogging with her radical feminist friends ON HOW to send a man to jail.

Of course, she will only say it was a hypothetical case she was playing with in her head, in Court - but anyway! how damn twisted is this chick?

I mean, she is an obviously quite mad and revengeous woman! - dangerous!

Well! she wasn't maybe so smart after all since digital copies of this will probably be used against her in Court by Assange's lawyer.

First I thought this was just a case between Julian 'DonJuan' Assange and the two women who felt betrayed because he had cheated on them - but now I'm not so sure!

Maybe there's something more behind all this?

Both parties has also the top lawyers in Sweden - so this farce will be entertaining!

I find it odd that we have one Australian (Murdoch) trying to tear down another (Assange). Murdoch is surely raking in the money hand over fist with all of the MSM attention garnished on the Wikileaks revelations. It was Ardin who according to her Twitter feed invited Assange to Stockholm. She was briefly appointed his press secretary during his visit. Her name was originally included on the press releases about the WikiLeaks agreement with the Pirate Party but it has since been removed.

Ardin is known to have been infatuated with (and have translated) the infamous 'Seven Steps to Legal Revenge' which details how to inflict pain on enemies by getting people to stalk them and by using other nefarious tricks. Ardin ardently believes the patriarchal aspect of Western society is only held in place by the male's ability to rape women.
