I had a friend of mine who had similar
problems and found out later from
a doctor that is was a bone spur.

After the operation to fix the spur,
everything was back to normal.

But I am not a doctor
but you need to see one

This is surely a sign of a spiritual awakening. If you do not accept this offer from the spirit realm because the window closes, you may not get another chance to ascend into the light-being realm.

Last I heard, you have to do what is suggested... in your case it would be to cease walking until you ascend.

Well, that is a interesting response. As much as I do like to think of myself as spiritual, and the thought of doing nothing and staying off my feet sounds truly divine, I have a feeling I would end up descending instead of ascending! Wish you had more to say on that then just "Last I heard."

I can just imagine the convo with the wife... Honey? why are you just laying around on the couch all day?" Why I'm ascending dear, didn't you know?"

Im sorry, Im really not mocking what you said, it's just so hard sometimes to mix the two worlds together if you know what I mean.

The best thing is to always follow your higher guidance from within, so you are on the right track whether the physical symptoms continue or cease.

I know it can be very painful and more than frustrating when even massage only helps a little.

As one member suggests, take a look at some of your dietary habits and look into supplements from your local health food store.

Sometimes on the physical level it can be as simple as a time when your body is naturally throwing out toxins which on the spiritual level is part of your ascension process.

As you said drinking at least a gallon of water per day with about 1/8th tsp. of sea salt can help. Also deep tissue massage can help the process by breaking up the toxins which gather in the feet much faster, this can be a long drawn out challenge if you dont get that done.

I suffered a few years ago with the same problem and y now ex was pressing my heels between his strong hands and I and he felt and heard a loud POP, and you know it was like busting a toxic cyst or something but it healed me.

I still from time to time over do it as I have bad knees and rely to much on my feet occasionally, but staying hydrated, and simply putting them up with relief under my knees helps when they begin to ache again.

I can understand, it is so painful, and once you have ruled out any real medical anomalies, the rest is just going to take time and a good Rolfing session.

If you know of a reputable and trustworthy acupuncturist, that would also be the way to go if you can afford it, luckily my brother is one and he sticks me to keep me going at least once a year.

best wishes to you, and I have to say your question is sweet and I feel your sincerity.

This should help plenty.
ATS members always believe that there is something deeper to something so simple. "My foot in pain must mean I am ascending" is an absurd conclusion.

If the OP doesn't link foot pain to ascension this thread goes straight to BTS

Thank you very much for your kind words. I appreciate the time you took to respond as well as the others that have been trying to be helpful.

To respond to a few others instead of making a bunch of singular post, I had my feet x-rayed .. no bone spurs. Besides it is both feet.

I mentioned ascension because I have read in my travels that there are many symptoms to it. One can not just rule out something that could be very possible, just because they don't understand it or believe in it. I was hoping that some with more knowledge of this may be able to give me a better idea of how the feet are involved.

Frankly it makes perfect sense to me that the feet would be important to this process. I can understand the grounding and the releasing of toxins etc through the feet. After all the feet are a good place to start when one wants to relieve pressure for other parts of the body.

With all the other crazy things going on lately, and people feeling different, or noticing different things, I thought I would see if anyone else was feeling this or has noticed this from the ascension point of view as well. I find it hard to believe I would be the only one here with this feeling and who knows, possible clue to something we don't understand.

I think we have had some great responses on all points. Medical and Spiritual. I really hope to read more from others. One can always keep learning with a open mind imho.

No, I am not a diabetic. I have never been overseas to the ME. I am getting older, but even though this has been going on for a few months now, it feels like it just happened overnight, if that made sense.

Not to be cold, but plantar fasciitis? I've dealt with this, and it's one heck of a tough foot problem to deal with. See en.wikipedia.org...

Perhaps a Naturopath or a Homeopath might have some insight into your problem if the Podiatrists don't know.

Do you work standing up on hard surfaces? I had an uncle who worked his whole career in a machine shop standing and walking on concrete, and he developed foot problems. Though you say it came on pretty fast, so that's likely not it. Hope you figure it out soon.

Hmm, feet hurt during ascension?

That happened to me before during one of my recent ascensions. I managed to sort it out by ensuring I had the right sort of walking or hiking boots. Zamberlan are an excellent make.

Make sure you get a pair that provides strong, rigid support for your ankles but at the same time, allows some flexibility in the overall shape - you never know what sort of ground you'll encounter; rocks, shale, mud, large pebbles, etc. Also make sure your toes aren't compressed together as you want some comfort while you ascend.

If you know it's going to be wet and muddy on your trip I'd suggest investing in a pair that are waterproof, like Goretex.

All the best.

I would seek another medical opinion. I am not sure of all your symptoms but I will tell you my personal experience. About 12 years ago I started to get extremely painful feet. It got to the point when I would wake up in the morning I would crawl to the bathroom. My feet hurt so bad I could not walk on them. I tried expensive shoes, inserts etc. I went to a podiatrist and got cortizone shots in my feet. None of this worked to alleviate my problem.

The only thing that worked for me was ibuprophen and a lot of it. After living like this for about 2 years I went to my general practitioner. They referred me to a rheumatologist where I was diagnosed with a super rare form of arthritis called ankylosing spondylitis. This actually starts in the spine but it affected my feet first. After being put on some NSAIDS my symptoms all but disappeared and I returned to a somewhat normal life. I can exercise and everything these days.

I am not saying this is what you have by any means. I am saying go get a second and third opinion because painful feet are not normal.

So you visited couple doctors and rule out the physiological explanation? I have had pain in my pelvis 15 years to which I couldn't find medical explanation until few years ago. I never thought it was actually because I was becoming an ascended master

C.G. Jung (and his colleques) reported a case where a woman regained his ability to walk once she had succesfully projected the expectations she had about her own unsuccesful son to dr. Jung (her aspiriations and the son's failure to fullfil these were causing a psychological defect that affected her feet). She left the clinic wihtout any problems.

But the again, it may be what you said. But I doubt it. But it may be.. errr. Whatever it is, get well

My friend, who's been a chiropractor for decades told me that she sees this sort of thing all the time. There are bands of nerves that snake through your spine and up through your neck and into the brain stem. If a band gets pinched, or even presses too hard against the inside walls of the spinal channel, the outer nerves in the band will respond to that pressure. Since the nerves are generally associated with a different part of the body, the pain or sensation will seem to eminate from that part of the body and not from the spine or neck area where the problem exists.

In your case, it could be a nerve that is associated with your feet, so your brain would register that your feet hurt, even though there's no problem with your feet. The problem may be that you need a chiropractic adjustment. At age 52, that's probably a safe bet anyway.

Some chiropractors offer free 1st adjustments. One middle age guy went into my friend's clinic for a freebee, and when she adjusted him, the relief was so overwhelming that he crapped his pants. Seriously. We generally have no idea how messed up we've become since reaching out full height as adults. All it takes is a small posture problem to seriously screw with your overall health after enough time has gone by, and phantom pain in your extremities is the #1 indication of neck/spine problems.

If you want to get metaphysical about it, the Feet connected to the root chakra, the color is red it is the life force energy,

Usually this means there is a blockage, there are mediation for unblocking chakras,

I hate all the doctor shilling we have in our modern society!!

And I admit I laughed at some of these responses, sorry, but this thread has ascended my mood this morning, for that I thank you!
(the comment about resting and trying to pass it off to the wife as ascending is classic!)

Now on to my comment. This is not webmd, this is ATS. How many times should OP acknowlege he has ruled out medical cause and would like to discuss metaphysical reasons for foot aching problems? Can we just take word he wears good shoes? He is here to gether ideas and information on foot related ascension topics.

Stormdancer offered a nice start, I too would research more on kundalini and chakras. I know nothing of them, but what you describe has often been ascribed to ascension, and kundalini awakening.

biologyofkundalini.com...

Here is a link to get you started.

Good luck discovering what the cause of your pain is, I am through with Doctors. I have gone six times for left leg hip pain which is so bad I cry most days. So far, I am several hundred dollars poorer, and not a bit of relief.

needle in your heel feeling sounds exactly like a splintered heel. the bulb that is the heel can sometimes crack and tiny tiny shards will break off which would feel like needles if walked on. jump off something of a fair height and land flat footed? thats my guess.

maybe your just getting old haha.

I have orbited our Sun, while being alive on this particular planet we call "Earth" for 53 orbits.

My "feet" have NOT had any problems....although, some TEN years ago, the father of a person I was dating at the time ( this man, the "father" I referred to, was a physician) looked at my bare feet, and pronounced that had a "Hammer Toe" situation, on one foot (the right, as it happens).

Well....YAH, I've ignored it and NO...it has NOT caused me any discomfort, nor pain. (Other's situations MAY vary....)

Turns out (as I've done research) it may NOT be as simple as "hammer toe"....might just be a common affliction for those with "flat feet". AFTER a few years have gone past, AND they've lived a life...etc.....

HYPOCHRONDRIA comes to mind, when I first read this thread title...there is a great deal of history on the topic, for those who are not yet aware...

Have checked if you are suffering from SI-joint misalignment?

I hope it may help.
