COD Black Ops!

Meh. *sigh* Why make another mediocre fps game like COD: Black Ops. There are so many boring generics already out there to choose from.

I just have a little time on multiplayer and its a lot better than MW2 i like the currency bit and the maps that i have been on are pretty good.
But not been on the story bit of the game yet.

So from what i have seen the multiplayer is a bit of an improvement to me anyway.

I don't play 360 but my daughter does and can't wait to play CoD Black Ops.... even before she found out my nephew spent almost around the clock this past year helping to design the game.

I plyed for 10 minutes and was killed 150, 00 times give or take by a swarthing pack of foul mouthed teenagers with fast thumbs. I am not really mad about the language as I am a foul mouthed mid-life married guy with slow thumbs. I needs me a posse though. Anyone want to ante up on PSN gamertags? I be JayShan1017

Will give in to online play eventually, but first doing missions to get my feet wet after COD MW2. Its been a while and I usually go after campers and cheaters so bracing myself for the onslaught.

Yeah it night have only been 139, 500 deaths. I am gonn go back and redo my perks so I have the one where you can respawn where you want. I got picked off easier than a fat man in the dessert at a sniping contest last night. This is really only the second game I have tried online though with red Dead ebing the other one and that one is more private matches with my kid. Not that it matters much since he kills me in humiliating ways just as much as these kids last night did with alarming frequency.

I now know what you mean i looked at my stats and its amazing how many deaths i have had in just 90 mins

The headset is ok at the moment, all the little a**holes havent been able to save enough money to buy the game so most players are older teenagers or adults at the moment

It wont last though, but I like making little kids cry when they come back with poor insults

For the record, I got a ratio of 1.5 so far....looking good

Just passed single play today and moved on to online matches. The key to victory is having a team that doesnt suck and never camp/BS around. So far I lost only twice without teamwork but with my crew im up to lvl 8.

How did you slip past the "Push back the NVA" objective? I see the weapons cache but the NVA spawn more quickly than a Blossom Goodchild prophecy. I am stumped.

Yeah it is hardest mission so far for me, I actually had to drop down the difficulty because I spent an hour and half on it. Pretty much take out the first wave, and rush the objective, then take out the newly spawned NVA, drop back a bit, then rush the next objective. You should have a few more NVA on the way, but hopefully by that time your squad will run with you....just keep moving

I think that is definitely the toughest part. You just have to time your moves. I don't have any great advice but definitely don't just sit there and try to eliminate people, they just keep coming.

I died more then 2 times on that damn mission. You have to make like an "S" route from the top to the weapons. get to the napalm crouching and drop it on them to get them spawning less. Also get weapons that reload real fast. Dont get the high ammo weapons since they take too freakin long to reload and by then you get bullet showers from charlie. Also to let yall know, my lil bro is already past lvl 25 on online matches. Man he plays too much.

I finished the solo campaign today, and it was an awesome ending

Going well on multiplayer too, up to level 26 now. Seems to be a lot of campers online at the moment. Guess people are trying to boost their stats.

Is it just me, or is it harder to actually get killstreaks on Black Ops, than MW2?

Never mind killstreaks i seem to get killed way too much
Feels more like a online respawning game but fun only played a little of solo game but i seem to like the online part too much even as crap as i am at it LOCK AND LOAD

I agree, the ending was less messed up then the one from MW2 an I would have never believed that they would bring zombies back. Still feel kind of sad for reznov though.
