Kanye West Power- An Indictment

I wanted to post this here to get people take on it. If you watch the video and listen to the lyrics it is very compling. The lyrics actually move with the video. I think he is showing who really has the power in this world. Kanye yet once again has come out of left field in this one.

There is so much symbolism here that I could touch on but what we must ask ourselves why would he make a video like this in the first place. Especially after that Taylor swift initiation. Seems things are starting to come into view from plain view once again. Here is the cover for the song

To me it's just another music video. Everyone interprets songs and the music videos that go with them different. Pretty creative on Kanye West part with the video.

Freemason? How can you tell he is a Freemason? also what do you think of the Freemasons? I have a couple relatives that were Masons.

Taylor Swift initiation? So him being a rude piece of crap towards her was an initiation? I just think he is a selfish jerk who only cares about himself. If you feel this was some sort of initiation could you explain why. I honestly would like to hear.

The video is kind of interesting but i don't think he is any member of a secret society. Also usually the director of the video comes up with the idea not the singer. Kayne isn't bright enough, he would just complain the whole time.

If you want to link something to illuminati/freemasons etc you can pretty much make anything do so if you try hard enough...doesn't change the fact it's all nonsense.

Stop spreading DaLies.

The visual effect is pretty cool which I'm sure Mr West had nothing to do with as it is beyond the talent of a rapper. As for the lyrics well! its the same persecution complex that made him look a fool regarding the Taylor Swift debarcle. He needs to get over the fact that ALL races are persecuted by the rich not just the black community, his constant moaning is getting old.
He should stick to what made him rich and rap about how much stuff he owns and treating women like meat...

he's just talking about how great he is and what a genius he is. the man with all the power is him, he's so smart and he's powerful and such. other than thhat he's just picking words that rhyme which does not make a coherent sentence, but they do rhyme. that is all. if you're high you tend to give the lyrics in music more credit than it deserves.

Why is the full body of work being attributed to Kayne? Does Obama run Earth by himself?

Indeed, I know a lot of symbolism is lost on those who can't see it or don't understand it... But pop culture / pop music (yes I consider rap pop music) of the last 10 years or so is steeped in the esoteric. There's a nice site that covers what the OP hints at (Esoteric symbolism). I won't go any further into that subject it's more of a ... you have to research a lot of material on your own...

But that's my opinion...

People who believe the Freemason conspiracy more often than not link the Illuminati in to it somewhere along the line...that is all i meant by Freemason/Illuminati.

To the people who think I'm just another whack job who blames everything on the mason I'm not. I think at one point they severed there purpose and had to be "secret". "free thinking" people were murdered during the reign of the church. but now they have become the things they fought against

Taylor Swift wins the “Best Female Video” award and goes up on stage to give her thank yous. Kanye West pops out of nowhere, taking the mic from her hand, and informs her that Beyonce has “one of the best videos of all time“. This scene has caused much controversy and has earned Kanye the title of “Douchebag of the year” plus a the honor of being called a “jackass” by the President of the United States. I might shock some people by saying this… but this “unexpected” event was… STAGED! There I said it. Did you ever watch a crappy reality show and had the gut feeling that the whole thing was scripted? Well, I’ve got an overload of that feeling while watching this scene. None of the people involved (not even Beyonce making her “I can’t believe this is happening” face) are good actors. Furthermore, I’ve been following Kanye’s career since his beginnings and I’ve retained one important fact about him: the only thing Kanye West cares about, is Kanye West. So if he had to throw a hissy fit about something, it would had been about him not winning. Not Beyonce. Him.

This scene is in fact Taylor Swift’s initiation into what I call “The Circle of Chosen Artists”. The pupil is humiliated in front of her peers and told that she is not worthy to be on the same stage as Beyonce, the queen of the ceremony. Almost all groups, fraternities and gangs carry out an initiation process to test the recruit’s character, strength and worth. Swift’s ordeal was to have Kanye ruin her first award ever and to be told that she didn’t deserve this recognition. The rapper is known for bitching during award shows so he was the perfect candidate to make it all seem “unexpected”.

If you look at this video from a spiritual perspective. He is at the boundary of the infinite and the world of sin protected by the angle that sits in front of him.

I guess i haven't been on ATS in a while but i thought the motto was to deny ignorance?!?!? This video is filled with so many symbols that it speaks volumes. If any of the symbols above where just by themselves I would not say there was a message to it. But to much is going on here to just write it off as imagination.

In the last 20 or so months I've done quite a bit of research into the esoteric, and what I've been seeing in every facet of pop culture is quite scary in my opinion.
The symbolism used in music videos, album art, lyrics and in the promotions of artists seems more like the heinous plot of an evil corporate entity in a strange movie or T.v show...
Pop music (In my opinion) is using more scary imagery and content than any heavy metal band or Marilyn Manson like character has used or is using and no one really seems to notice. The pop culture zombies eat it up with out hesitation, mocking those who try and show others the strange trend(s) in pop culture. It really baffles me to no end... Ah well back to more research I suppose.
It's just too bad there isn't more interest in this subject...
