Indeed! Seen a few satellites at night, in my day, and the movement is very clear. Yeah, they look like stars, but they MOVE.

Plus, it is simply not true that people would not "be ready" for such information.

The idea that people will not be able to handle the truth is spread by certain believers as means to inflate their ego; it is essentially a claim that they are better than the rest of humanity. Every religion does this, they are saved through their special knowledge. These believers are no different.

The Chariots of the Gods? Seriously? I have read it, in fact, own a copy, BUT, that isn't proof. It's the OPINIONS of Von Daniken. Opinions based on some data and a LOT of interpretation. Example, the Nazca lines? You don't have to fly to see them; a seat on bleachers would be plenty high enough. Plenty of other places he jumps to conclusions. Not saying whether you should believe aliens are real or not here; just saying you should not treat opinion and speculation as proof. For every opinion like the ones in that book, there are a dozen others that say how it's wrong. The pyramids are a great example. Plenty of people believe they know exactly how these were built, and have shown it's possible, yet some refuse to believe people could do it, and figure there "must have been" alien help. Rather insulting to us as a species, really. Especially considering some of the things we have built.

Opinion isn't proof. Never has been, never will be.

...

Um.......not sure how to break this to you.......I actually watched and listened to the original moon landing and didn't hear ANYTHING about anyone, or anything, else being there. Not a word. We were huge fans of the space program, and this went far beyond a "big deal". Without actual audio recordings, I simply can't buy this one.

Some washed up no name moon man comes out with a story while unemployment is at its highest. I am not surprised he is trying to make a few bucks before he kicks the bucket by saying anything to get a rise out of people.

Makes me sick how so many people do this when its to late to care or when people stop caring about them. I hope someday we can get credible sources from people who still are in positions to obtain actual evidence. Statistically this must happen sooner or later. Soon we will get some real disclosure!

Well aliens taking us over through open warfare or brute force would depend on if they had the physical numbers to carry out an extended campaign on a global scale. As opposed to making a deal with tptb and fly under the radar so to speak. Obviously this is all speculation but since there is no physical proof all you can do is run hypertherical scenarios.

And from an efficiency point of view it's far easier to control a population that doesn't know it's being manipulated as opposed to openly fighting them. That's just logic.

Reading through the thread, I would not call any of his posts attempts to "derail" the discussion. In fact, what I have seen from him is questions. Questions should be welcomed, if you believe, because they allow the opportunity to discuss further, offer additional proof, and so forth.

I don't think posts from people that don't believe a topic is real are a distraction, if done with courtesy, as he's done thus far.

I question, because I want PROOF, not opinions and speculation. Sure, many astronauts have opinions, and I can respect that. Always been a fan of the space program. Watched the moon landing when it happened, in fact (yeah, that ancient, lol). I just want proof. Links to sources. Audio recordings we can listen to online. Non-UFO sites that collaborate the claims of the UFO ones. Example? This quite interesting site with an article that starts out "What did Arthur know and when did he know it?" Sure many of you have seen this. "A Moon with a View" is another title for it. There, they show pics of a Saturn moon that seem to have straight edges. Wanting proof, I navigated independently of there site to the official NASA site, and found, in fact, the same pictures, and yes, they DID in fact have the same straight edges! THAT is proof to me.

That said, I think that's all MMN is asking for. Proof, not just speculation assumed to be proof.

In case anyone asks if I think aliens are real? Well, I have opinions. Mixed bag, overall. For the most part, possibly something real, but maybe not what most think it is, if that makes sense.

To the thread, though, the opinions of the author of the article are not proof. And yes, I would in fact shoot an alien around my place. Tell you what, though, after that, will put it on the table, and videotape a home autopsy, then post for all. Sound like a plan? Nothing creeping about someone's home at night is telegraphing good intentions. If an actual extraterrestrial wants to pay me a visit, I recommend ringing the doorbell.

99.9% of the population couldn't handle disclosure.

What you saw two weeks ago in the sky was not the ISS. I saw one in LA, CA in broad daylight. That day the POTUS was arriving ... They're ours

Interesting! Care to elaborate?

2) only a official statement from the white house will be accepted to be the real true deal about Aliens

why should you believe the government with any of this. they are the ones that have kept the truth hidden from you to begin with. and by the way an 'official' disclosure would be full of half truths and various bs. I say get rid of the government youve been lied to long enough. then let the ETs land and their message come out freely and to everyone!

There is a speech by then pres Ronald W Reagan about UFO's and the space threat, wonder how many of you remember or know of this, it was back in 1987 in Feb. The msm had a field day with this, who is having afield day now?

I think the point is, he talked about UFO's, not aliens. Unidentified doesn't automatically mean from another planet.

This statement is interesting. How do you "know" that aliens exist, based on seeing an object that was unidentified to you and which you don't have any proof of who built it or who was or wasn't in it?

I never get the huge leap from UFO to.....it must be alien.

This post makes me sad. Why is this person so full of hate. I appreciate the sharing of links, but hwy not just post your actual discussion here instead of there and contribute since that is why you posted.

I hope you find it in yourself to come back to the community and participate in the discussions and not leave to go somewhere else.

Exactly! What kills me is the people that want so badly to believe will accept ANYTHING as "proof", even when in doing so they damage the credibility of all in the field. One post even stated that we "don't need proof" anymore. Unreal! I want truth, and evidence.

Good points! Was thinking something along those lines, in regard to how it relates to brainwashing techniques. A simple list of some of these follows:

1. "us" vs. "them"
2. black and white choices
3. keeping you in line with shame
4. controlling what you watch and read
5. slipping bull# into your subconscious
6. chanting slogans

Brainwashing

You will have to excuse some of the humor on the site, but the techniques are real, and do work. It would do us all some good to watch out for such things.

So anyone that disagrees, or dares to question, is a Sith now? *rolls eyes*

Those that believe should DEMAND proof, and not accept hearsay, speculation, and personal opinion as though they were facts. This is simple common sense. it is a fact that many UFO believers act this way (not saying all do!), and denying this isn't realistic. People get fanatical about things. The important thing is to be logical, sensible, and to expect evidence to follow a claim. I could claim to be a hybrid, but I doubt anyone would believe it without proof (as they should not, lol!).

If someone is so sure of a thing, they will have reason and proof to offer those that question, as indeed the OP has attempted to do.
