This is a NON-EVENT.

No witnesses coming forward, no pics other than a hill fire which could be from anywhere, and no promised video of the actual event.

Even MUFON isn't reporting this one.

If I was present at a real event, you could bet your farm that I would be taking stills and video like crazy, until I ran out of data chips in the camera or batteries.

And it wouldn't take me a week to get that raw footage out on the internet either - I'd want it in the public domain just to avoid a visit from the MIB.

Its also possible that Mufon got "debriefed" about the situation. Hey, its possible you know.

Did you get a chance to go to the MUFON website?
Check out all of the sightings over the weekend

BTW, I'm glad I'm out of the cockpit now

Darn thing is cramped

Can't recall reading anything regarding Mufon withholding a report in the past regarding a UFO sighting. It certainly is not out of the realm of possibilities. Sort of strange that the story seems to have stalled at this point.

Still, with no confirmation or additional information, video/pictures, etc., it seems that this one may be headed for the hoax forum after all...

can`t wait to see this video .James films some of the best evidence ,or maybe somebody else will film some awesomeness, wether its military or not.I believe people should get there binoculars and night specs ready on the skies as there is definetly a rise in visible activity, the more you see the more your perspective will grow to realise some high strangeness ,and reality is not what we have been taught .Keep your eyes on the skies, know the differences between normal objects and abnormal, even try a chinese lantern, learn its hieght, luminousity and flight characteristics. Then when you witness the high strangeness you`ll get that shiver of seeing something you can`t explain ,can`t wait .Know your sky, its yours ,god given ,or not god given depending on beliefs.we are all free people ,and in times past that was`nt the case use your freedom to see some of the unbelievable.

Many thanks for the correction

Possably started deliberately? Perhaps someone up to no good? Whats your take on it?

That being said I haven't seen a military build-up in or near here. We do have a deep-underground base here and the military have been flying triangles for years so take it for what it is worth.

Many thanks again. I still feel the two are not one of the same, ie: Night video of plane and day-time fire on hill side picture!

Are you in a position to go investigate?

Be safe be well,

Spiro

I just came across this on real ufo's site regarding this incident , it may cast some light on the event or maybe just cloud the water .... its up to you to decide

Ok you may have remembered i had a post up about an apparent Ufo crash in Fresno over the weekend.
Well I was asked to take it down .... so here is the summary plus the update so far: A mufon investigator Jeffrey Gonzalez responded to crys of apparent witnesses saying “It’s trying to take off, it’s trying to lift!”over the weekend in Fresno california and went to inspect the area.

He apparently saw lights from an arc welder in the hills and some type of repair happening in the field to some sort of craft with Military trucks nearby. At the end of the day Mr Gonzalez then saw a stingray shaped vessel in front of an abandoned shack on the mountain with by two massive burn marks nearby on the hill.

So what does this all mean.?.. Well it brings to question many possibilities. Firstly what are these strange triangle craft?.. are they some sort of military top secret project? ..would that go to explain the numerous triangle ufo sightings in Fresno recently? Secondly . why did they repair the craft on the go in the field? .. why the arc welders?.. why not take the craft away in the trucks... or is that what happened?

Just a thought on the smoke plume. It appears to be a vegetation fire, not a fuel fire (which would be blacker). If the object that had a "hard landing" on that hill was hot enough, or skidded long enough to create friction and sparks, it would start a vegetation fire. Really dry this time of year....

He may be assuming that the lights he saw were from an arc welder. Just because they may have looked like the sparks/fire produced by an arc welder does not necessarily mean that those lights were made by an arc welder, but *look* like it. What else could look like that? Electrical arcs come to my mind, like what is produced by a Tesla tube. What, do you suppose, a craft operating on antigravity would look like/respond like if it were damaged in a "hard landing"? Could the damage result in electrical arcs and sparks instead of a nuclear blast or fuel explosion? Just trying to think out of the box instead of instantly calling this a hoax and declaring, "move on, nothing to see here..."

I thought that some of these flying triangles were part of the military and space program--basically secret projects. Is it possible that one of them crashed?

Personally, I believe that UFOs are real and that military forces around the world have had run-ins with them over the years, sometimes shooting at them at so on. Maybe they still are even today.

Is it possible that this flying triangle was a US craft that got shot down by a UFO, or did it just crash on its own?

How about a little update?

naturalplane.blogspot.com...

"Lon...I received a call on my UFO hotline number at 559-287-UFOS(8367) Saturday night around 8:40 PM. It was from Justin who I have spoken to in person on 2 separate occasions. He contacted me about 3 weeks ago that he saw me on a TV news station about the Clovis incident case #24103. The reason Justin called me 3 weeks ago because he needed to talk to someone about all the things him and his wife were witnessing around their home for the past 4 years. I met with him and he described the weird crafts that they both have seen flying around a mountain and over their house. He told me they were mostly triangular in shape but there were other craft that he and his wife have been witnessing and they know that those crafts were not airplanes or helicopters. He used to be in the military so he knows what a airplane and a helicopter look like.

This past Saturday night, 8-21-10, I received a call from Justin advising me that I need to come over to his house ASAP. I asked him why and he stated to me that a triangle-shaped craft just hit the side of the mountain which is about 3 to 4 miles away...."

I didn't have the chutzpah to read through all the posts.

Has anyone figured out what the thing was just yet?

An UFO crashed? Cool! I mean of course sad for our universe-cousins piloting it.. I will be waiting to hear about it in the normal news. Having studied these so much I'm wise enough not to waste my time on it on a forum. At least not if the information is something like "there was a fire near a supposed UFO hotspot."

While absolute identification of the fire on the hill may be problematic at this stage, it might be worth mentioning the following.
You are of course correct in that this smoke looks more akin to brush fire than fuel burning. However, brush burning on location does not establish that no crash happened. In fact if the crash happened at sufficient speed, the friction of the crash, and any spare heat in the airframe of the vehicle ( remember fast jets get VERY hot due to friction with the air) could have set fire to surrounding scrub without burning fuel or any other chemical ejection from the craft itself.

No, that is just a normal plane that someone calls a UFO - It has the normal navigation lights a normal plane has!

All because you see the lights of a plane in the sky does not mean it is a triangle UFO....

"Normal", eh?

Navigation lights on "normal" planes are red and green.

www.aerospaceweb.org...

These colours are not shown in this "plane."

Therefore, the lights are NOT "normal" navigation lights and the "plane" is not "normal".

That is not to say that it is not a "plane". Rather, it is not a "normal" plane.

Just to play devils advocate, nav lights may be coloured, but running lights are not. Often you get two mounted on the wings or underslung near the fuselage, and one on the nose. Hell sometimes theres even one on the rear . White lights not coloured.
