First the us Now the UK? When will this end?

First the US has been busted for torturing prisoners and now it looks like its the UKs turn. www.guardian.co.uk...

My question is this Why? Arent we supposed to be helping these people? Believe me i fully understand this is WAR but we are supposed to be the good guys. How can we help a country that cant trust us?

As has been mentioned, this is war.

War is ugly. The real crime in modern times is all the bleeding hearts trying to control wars. Thats why they last so long and are so painful now adays.

If you want it over quick, you have to be brutal and final.

Of course, POWs are different. But the question is, whats the nature of the prisoners? i asked that when the whole Abu Garhib thing broke out. Why were these men held?

If they were your run of the mill former army guys captured and forced to fight, who surrendered, then those who abuse them should be skinned alive in oublic.

However, if these are post invasion prisoners, like, people arrested for terrorism or other similar crimes, then sorry.

Serial killers are not humans. Child molesters and rapists arent humans. Terrorists arent humans. It takes more than speech, opposable thumbs, and upright locolomotion to be properly classified as being a humans being. People who kill in cold blood for ideology on thier own free will, or kill for pleasure and fun, are not humans. People who kill in the name of a god are not humans.

Thus, they are exempt from the rights humans deserve.

So, Im waiting. Still waiting.......
