Robots preparing to defeat humans in Soccer

Can a team of soccer-playing robots beat the human world champions by 2050?

That's the ultimate goal of RoboCup, an international tournament where teams of soccer robots compete in various categories, from small wheeled bots to adult-size humanoids.

Not that impressed with some of the larger robots, but the little ones looked pretty cool. The most realistic aspect of some of those larger robots playing was the way they fell over as soon as they were touched by the other players.

They could defeat England right now.

And not just the soccer team.

And so it begins.

Once the robots realise they can beat us they will organise a revolulution and make us their slaves.
