Colombia's Galeras Volcano about to spew., page 1

Colombian authorities on Wednesday issued a red alert, the highest level, for the Galeras Volcano, indicating it could erupt at any moment.

Was watching the new's and seen what was going on in Colombia.

Seems that they are evacuating people.

I'll look for more articles on this.

Here is a webcam on the Galeras Volcano..

It updates the image every minute. Its quite difficult to make out , but all seems quiet at the mo.

I read that they were evacuating 8,000 people.

Thanks, was wondering if there were any live cams, even tho this just updates every minute, it's better than nothing.

Im just wondering what is that thing above the volcano.

Do you think it might be the light/ reflection of the volcano on low lying clouds overhead .

Just a guess ....

On second thoughts it may just be some smudging / dust particulate. Or even some camera artefact.

It already erupted..Just some ashe, no reports of injuries
