McCain Beats Back Hayworth to Win Ariz (A plea)

www.foxnews.com

Sen. John McCain fended off Republican challenger J.D. Hayworth in the Arizona Senate primary Tuesday, virtually assuring he'll keep his seat in November despite signs earlier in the year that an anti-Washington wave could wipe out one of Capitol Hill's most influential leaders.

Hayworth at one point in the campaign seemed poised to leverage Tea Party support and give McCain a run for his political life. Outsider challenges had already led to the primary defeats for Republican Utah Sen. Bob Bennett and Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter, and McCain was potentially vulnerable nea

America......Im going to beg you....Im going to plead with you....with every fiber of my being....PLEASE.......do NOT elect the same people that we have fought so hard to get away from.

Tea Party people...(which I am a part of) if we are true to our cause, people like Johnny boy wont be elected again.....

This scares the hell out of me America...these people are winning, again....

This isnt what we want, this isnt what we need, this "status quo"

We have spoken in loud voices and actions, we have fought against this current administrations actions....this is fair, and this is just, it is our right......

But if it is for NOTHING then to vote the SAME people in that have always been there, keeping our CHOKE collars tight, then it has been futile.......

This is a plea to conservatives, independents, liberals, and everything in between.....

If we TRULY want equality, and freedom, and what is RIGHT..

Then we do NOT allow the same politics of the past to come forth again....We do NOT allow the DEMOCRATIC agenda....we do NOT allow the REPUBLICAN agenda to prevail......

Stand as a PEOPLE and a NATION with VALUES instead of ideals to prevail......

We can argue semantics on right and wrong until we run out of breath........

We can banter about politics until this country has not a foundation to politic ON!

We have a chance to change all of this, lets not make the same mistakes.....

You can tell me "well where were you when Bush was in office" "where were you 5 years ago!"

It doesnt matter people......what matters now is that we are ALL awake

What matters now is not that our politicians make a change

but that WE MAKE A CHANGE!

The problem with Americas politics are that you only get to chose from the same recycle trash every 4 to 6 years and that is how it goes, manipulation and more manipulation while having the voters think that they are doing the choosing and the voting.

In America the American people have not been voting truly for many decades, is all an illusion.

And to prove it, just check when was the last time that our so call "elected" government did anything in the name of the people.

Still as long as we allow this corruption to keep taking hold it doesn't matter who win the elections or congress in the US, we are nothing but slaves, the masters are still in charge.

S&F,

It boggles my mind too! Why vote the same officials into office be they Dem. or Rep. and expect any kind or real change.
This is not to be a career position, and to boot most of them are multi-moillionaires.

They tell you want to hear time & time again and the sheeple follow blindly.

I will not vote for any VA incumbants and plea with all I talk to too do the same.

if McCain gets elected, I am strongly convinced that he will invade Iran. I don't think Obama will invade Iran, if they wanted to do it so badly, they would have done it already, meaning they won't, not until a Republican war monger gets in office, like...hmm...who would that be...be in Iraq 100 more years...Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb bomb Iran...oh yeah, McInsane.

::::SONGBIRD:::: MCCAIN IS SONGBIRD!! anyone who votes for the traitor WHO SURRENDERED and willingly gave up his flight book__which he could have destroyed___ then songbird played off his crash injuries as torture injuries!!!!!!!!

this may be old news to many, but vital to anyone who respects McShaim---michael savage knows this but is unable to divulge due to the congessional work McShaim developed as soon as he got to congress..

McShaim, McShame, however you spell it!!!!!!!!

this is very disturbing and I am thinking
that the actual people did not get a fair
vote. I think it was rigged in McInsane's
favor like most elections are. Just wait
til November when ALL the incumbents
start winning and America sees the truth,
there will be Revolution.

Buddy, as someone who was a big supporter of Ron Paul and the real Tea Party (before it was taken over by neocons), I would like to ask you:

What did you expect?

The Tea Party of today IS the Republican party, its like when Valuejet changed its name to JetBlue, the Republicans in D.C understood what a disaster GWB was so they changed their name to the "Tea Party" and used Fox News like a weapons, now all of the brown nose war monger Republican voters feel like they are Americas pride even though they are Americas equivalent to a Saudi Wahhabist fanatic, and, hypocritical to the point that they would love Barack Obamas policies, if it were John McCain executing them.

I will vote for President Obama because if the Tea Party (read Republican) candidates win, we will have: new wars, an even more oppressive Police State and greater economic crimes against Americans.

I know that they are all friends on the hill, but, the Republicans just love death and poverty, if we hand the country over to them, that is all we can expect.

I would rather be taxed to death than beaten to death by crazy cops looking for "terrrrrrerists" from "al caca" or watch my Sons caskets come back from Iran, it really is the lesser of 2 evils.

Friends, I echo very loudly just what ManBehindTheMask said, we simply cannot keep electing the same old boys and expect a different result, or a different way of governing. Same people, same politics, same lobby, same money and funding, same corporations telling them what to do, how to vote. Congress and Senate are bought and sold right now, only way to change it is to fire those who take the money from corporate interests and the lobby.

The Tea Party represents a fresh face, and a fresh way of doing things in Washington. It represents a different approach, and a lack of owing political favors to corporations. We have to end Corporate Government, or else Corporate Government is going to end us, and our way of life. Who do you think is behind illegal immigration amnesty? Who is behind putting hormones, and MSGs in food? Fluoride in the drinking water? Who decides what fuel our cars use, and what powers the electrical grid? Who is chiselling away at your Constitutional rights, and attempting to make your Nation into a Police State where only they have weapons?
You need to think about this, people, before casing a vote, and may I take this opportunity to urge everyone to VOTE! Let's all show this Old boys School what we really think of them!

I love that you people think Just Dumb Hayworth is some kind of reformer. This is a guy who spent 6 terms in congress taking illict Abramoff money and then lost his Cook PVI R+7 seat to a liberal Democrat in 2006. Hayworth has been named the "Dumbest member of Congress" multiple times yet he's some kind of conservative savior? Come on.

If there is any hope of turning things around --- and I, for one, am losing hope by the day we have to stop thinking election-by-election. We need to not only throw out all the usual suspects but anyone endorsed by the system as well. That means either side. We need to vote for 3rd party candidates or anyone OTHER than the people the Reps/Dems are serving up. If we're able to do that across the country in large enough numbers they WILL take notice. But if we keep at this my-party-is-bettr-than-your-party crap we are all doomed. Seriously, we're doomed. The only chance we have, and it is admittedly a razor thin one, is to pull the entire rug out from under the system.

Just remember people of Arizona, John McCain is pro gang rape!

It's true!

Frankins Anti Rape Amendment receives little bi partisan support.

So, do you really want someone that is pro gang rape as your Senator in our government Arizona? Is that what you really really want?

Is gang rape ok? Because if you vote for John McCain, you are saying YES to gang rape!

Roll Call Vote Record Showing McCain is Pro Gang Rape!

Same old story. They wanted to keep McCain. So what do you know, the "Tea Party" folks appears with a Republican primary candidate who siphons a lot of votes from Hayworth, and McCain wins.

In Nevada it's a different version of the game. They want to reelect Harry Reid, who is widely hated and despised in the state. So appears Sharron Angle as the opponent, a candidate the press can savage and who makes some stumbles of her own, and the miracle occurs: Reid is on the road to reelection!

In Connecticut four years ago there was a real risk that Joseph Lieberman would be thrown out of the Senate. After all he's totally worthless and so the people of Connecticut defeated him in the Democratic Primary, with Ned Lamont winning. So Lieberman switches to Independent, and somehow when the votes are counted in the general election he has more of them. Another miracle! And we are unable to rid ourselves of Lieberman.

Money talks people. McLettuce spent over 20 million on his campaign. Commercial after commercial after commercial for McLettuce. I live in Arizona and was exposed to it all.

Hayworth had no chance.

Whether it's truth, perception or portrayal, I have seen nothing to indicate that the "Tea Party" is anything more than a fringe Republican party, and nothing that they grouse about is anything new.

Someone, whom I would guess is not far from "Tea Party" mentality, is currently running ads on the American stations here that is along the lines of "The streets of Hollywood aren't paved with gold, they're paved with your taxpayer dollars" because the government has apparently repaved Sunset Strip.

Oh, look. Here it is:

Hey. It's a freakin' road, okay? Maybe it needed to be repaired? Are we so stupid and gullible that we'll hear an advert like this and get angry because those elitist Hollywood snobs are getting their roads taken care of? Sort of like how all of the rest of us get our roads taken care of?

Sorry, though I tend to vote conservatively, this kind of idiocy deserves to be voted AGAINST.

Now that corporations can support candidates openly as by the "Supreme court" just look who win and who is behind the campaign funds that tells who corporation or fat rat in the financial business will actually be running the nation, the sad thing is that now foreign interest will be pouring money at will.

It is true when it comes as "money talks and BS walk" . . .

Ya...us stupid people here in Arizona are by no means perfect. But we do elect people like Sheriff Joe and Governer Jan Brewer to tackle illegal immigration issues. Immigration issues the federal government refuses to solve. Immigration issues the federal government will NEVER want to solve.

So obviously Arizona is so stupid according to "YOU", American Daughter yet we the people here in Arizona have MORE TESTICLES than the other 49 states in the union by introducing SB1070 into law. Arizona is the state that has had enough of the federal governments INACTION to this issue.

Now I have two questions for you.

1) What the hell has your state done to address the illegal immigration issue?

2) Are you done make stupid comments?
