ok. i can take constructive criticism.

Well, now I need my glasses...

there are alot of things going on that we are not being informed of, in my professional opinion, in all earnest, sincere, and genuine honesty.

I'm fairly certain you're correct there. I'm not delusional enough to believe we know everything there is to know about things the government does or the entire reasoning behind why they do the things they do. I have enough common sense to know they keep many things hidden. Some things I'm sure should remain hidden because we really don't need to know. Just as I'm sure there are things they have hidden from us that we really do need to know about.

You completely ignored the point of my post. The point that people should consider all news sources and then work out what is fact from that. I was speaking to the don't ever watch anything that does not agree with my personal ideology crowd, who are so easily lead by their noses.

If you read my post it was in response to people who watch FoxNews being called names in an extremely childish post. It's that kind of nonsense that keeps us at each others throats. It does not improve the world, it makes it worse and plays right into the hands of the people who want us divided.

The real Bad Guys are loving the fact they have us at each others throats all of the time over things like this. It's all part of the plan. Too bad so many are so gullible they can't even have a conversation about it.

If we ever stop bickering about this nonsense, those who control us now become powerless. They could not even begin to control us. Sadly, the world is full of willing victims, fighting over who owns what, which shows you watch, what Party you belong too and all other manner of deception they use to control you.

If we were to be honest here, the Internet has become the number one source of bad information on Earth. The bad information is growing so fast it completely overwhelms the truth on the Internet these days.

I agree that we should get our news from as many sources as possible and then decide for ourselves just exactly where the truth lies for any given story.

I still watch Fox News just see what they are reporting but I have to tell you this; At first when Fox made a mistake, I would give them the benefit of the doubt. As time went on, it got to the point that the mistakes were so numerous and retractions nonexistent, that it got to be like the boy who cried "wolf." I can only be lied to so many times before I begin to doubt someone as opposed to giving them the benefit of the doubt.

As Jon Stewart pointed out last night, quite humorously I might add, Fox News is either "evil" or "stupid" and possible a combination of both. If you missed it, here it is;

www.thedailyshow.com...

With all this said, I still try to watch their news for as long as I can stand it but it still usually leaves me scratching my head in wonderment. Fox News really should be on the comedy network where it belongs.

Rupert Murdoch is in bed with Neocons and owns a neocon magazine called The Weekly Standard run by Bill Kristol. In September, 2000, neoconservatives put together a document called The Project for a New American Century (PNAC).

The PNAC was a plan put together by a think tank of neocons, and was in part written by Bill Kristol. Bill Kristol works for Rupert Murdoch. The PNAC basically talked about how defense spending was down because of Clinton and in order to protect the 'American Empire' from its greatest threat, China, defense spending needed to go up in a big way.

The document suggested that building these new defenses would be slow short of some crazy new war to encourage increased spending. They further suggested that it may take a 'New Pearl Harbor' to get that support. They then added that IF that new Pearl Harbor happened, it would take multiple large theater wars to keep the defense spending flowing... The suggested middle east countries such as Iraq, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, etc... This was written Sept 2000...

1 year later we have all those neocons in power, and 9/11 happens. What luck that the neocons would have their New Pearl Harbor less than a year after taking power, and on the 1 year anniversary of their PNAC.

The Weekly Standard (neocon mag) and FOX News immediately start pushing for the public support of war, pushing the Neocon agenda, with Bill Kristol and other neocons constantly showing up on FOX News as FOX News Commentators. The public support is there, we invade Iraq... and the wars go on and on....

FOX News aka Rupert Murdoch, has pushed the Neocon agenda of the PNAC to gain the public support that the Neocons needed in order to perform their plan. Rupert Murdoch used his media outlets to gain public support for a war with false intel.

In short... FOX News is worse than the normal media spin. Fox News pushes for war... they push for blood, and they employ fear tactics and hate to make it happen.

Or you could say they are reporting the news and since a lot of people are curious where the money came from it would be DIShonest not to report it... I wonder if the other news outlets can say the same?

So what does it mean? Surely it doesn't mean that everyone that watches Fox News supports terrorism, I mean, if you were to use Fox News's own logic, that's what it means, but you know, that can't be true right?

[edit on 8/24/2010 by whatukno]

Fox News needs to answer to allegations that it has terrorist ties. If they have nothing to hide, why don't they admit they support terrorism? Why doesn't Glenn Beck deny that he raped and murdered that girl in 1990?

It's true, Glenn Beck has never denied raping and murdering that girl in 1990! I'm not saying he did those things, but it's weird that he won't deny it. What is he afraid of? If you've got nothing to hide, answer to the allegations, Beck!

Fox News - A Weapon of Mass Deception

I do not think the Fox organization should be flattered to even be called a news agency. It is what it is: yellow sensationalized propaganda motivating manipulation of masses of gregarious short-sighted paranoid people. I bought a shirt online, I love to wear, which exemplifies the Bilderberg Group’s public relations arm, it simply says in big letters: FOX LIES. It’s amazing how many people turn their heads in the mall, as if I’m the anti-Christ. I’ve come to believe the FOXLIES channel is involved in creating a cult like following, heck they pretty much singlehandedly created the tea bagger crowd.

When I engage a person I just have met in conversation in person or online, it takes just a very short time before I know they watch FOXLIES, they just repeat the same goop which is spouted on that channel. It makes me wonder if these people every day wake up in the morning actually thinking, I can’t wait to hear what Beck, O’Reilly or Hannity thinks about this or that, talk about the dumbing down of America. When I realize I am talking to a FOXLIES cultist, I give them my FOXLIES challenge: do not watch anything from FOXLIES for thirty days, while telling them they will be amazed how the feeling of walking out of a dark cave into the warm light of the day will overcome them the next time they contemplate a cultural, social, religious, or political issue.

I love the Daily Show. It's a very sad thing when a comedy news show scoops all the major networks on perhaps the most important story of the year.

This would be like Laugh-In posting information that Henry Kissinger and Rumsfeld had plans to Nuke North Vietnam and start a war with China.

Seriously -- I've suspected this for a long time. And we KNOW that Fox is behind the Tea Bag movement -- even if some members are sincere. It's a tiny group that gets full air time and gets money from the Koch group -- an oil concern out of New Jersey that funds many astro-turf groups that are Global Warming Deniars and Pro Pollution.

Here's a rant I wrote before this appeared on ATS;

Prince Al Lawahid invests in Fox News. Why would he be funding a group that is constantly ranting about the "Muzlim" President? Supports wars around the globe to stop the Muzlim tyranny? Constantly projects a feeling of persecution of good, upstanding and moral Conservatives by Green Peace, Godless Liberal Atheists and of course the blood-filled jaws of Barbara Streisand?

Fox News promotes "holy war" with the Christianists and the evil 'Muzlims' -- why? They were very pro Bush for some reason, and are very anti Obama, but save for a few policies and better English, I couldn't pin-point any exact change in policy. The big promotion of the "Tea Baggers" who are anti-establishment and Big Government, is primarily from some of the same Fox backers and the same people who supported the witch hunt on President Clinton -- even though it failed and even though Clinton gave the Banksters what they wanted by repealing Glass Stegal and the Multinationals what they wanted with NAFTA and of course, the reduction in Capital Gains taxes that middle America NEEDED -- right? Pure, enemies, yet the same results. Liberals really closed up ranks behind Clinton to defend him from the Evil, crazy fanged Conservatives who wanted to destroy him -- and overlooked the fact that he was a Republican on anything that really mattered.

Who funds the Maddrasses in Afghanistan that teaches hate towards America? The Saudi Royal family -- actually.

Isn't a coincidence that a "prince" of the Saudi Royal family leads al Qaeda? The CIA funded and trained al Qaeda while we were at war with the Evil Soviet Union -- and then that group "got away from them" and turned their stinger missiles on Americans. Right after, of course, a meeting with the Bush family and some Saudis in Texas concerning UNOCAL's gas pipeline in Afghanistan. The greed should not surprise anyone -- but if the Bush family and the CIA had TRAINED and worked with the Afghanis for so long, how could they offend them so much, and especially -- why would Bush go on TV and offend their honor just AFTER they offered us Bin Laden -- turning it into an issue of "defending a guest" regardless of whether you are their ally or not?

It's a lot like how Saddam Hussein was working for the CIA and then he wasn't after James Baker "accidentally" told him it was OK to invade Kuwait. Was James Baker ever reprimanded for such an oversight? No. He was promoted and even represents the Saudi Royal family against lawsuits from 9/11 families to this day.

Surprising that there were NO Kuwaiti royals in the country during the "surprise" Iraqi attack. So flat-footed were they that they had the Ambassador's daughter giving an Emmy-winning performance about their atrocities even when she was safely out of the country. Like the camera crews who were there to film the Special Forces saving some lady soldier from the Evil Iraqi doctors after they had sent someone to a US checkpoint to tell her to come get her.

Oops! How did we accidentally get a script in our hands! Heads are going to roll!

>> Televised in Saudi Arabia, are clips from Fox News, proving how evil and angry America is against their people--against Muslims. And they have that great "oops" to play back of President Bush talking of a "holy war" in the Middle East. Sounding just like the crazy President in Iran while anyone with an education just groaned. The Saudi Royals have TV showing to the angry how wrong the moderates are with their concerns about the radicalization of the Maddrasses -- "see; we need to fight the Christians because they are fanged fanatics who want to destroy us!" And of course, the Saudis do the job on their side to prove to the viewers of Fox News, that Muzlims are fanged fanatics who want to destroy "America!" Which in their minds, is people like them and is occupied by the occasional hippy.

The Mullahs and the blood Priests NEED the religious war, to keep their ignorant angry at some "other" while they keep control of them and sell them the weapons.

The Likud party in Israel NEEDS the occasional rocket attack from Palestine to keep their hard-line police state and cheap labor. The corporations and chicken nugget plants NEED the War on Drugs.

>> And now we have Fox News covering Christians & NeoCons protesting the raising of a Mosque in the center of New York City.

And who shows up when we have "clean energy" protests or legislation to stop the dirty fuel? And getting off oil would hurt whom?

>> The Saudis, the Bush Crime Family and their CIA and Religious puppets won't stop until this is a police state.

Fox News is pushing the idea that Global Warming is a scam and that Al Gore is evil and trying to scam us.

The NUMBER one group clamoring for the heads of Muslims, and for war and more pollution and more oil but we can't drill because the well pumps blow and that means more Saudi oil, and the Saudi people who want to get rid of their Royalty are distracted by the evil American devils, and it's a win-win for the Saudis and those selling weapons. Fox News -- the fifth column.

Fox News is a part of a larger plot to get rid of Democracy and get the lower classes in America involved in any kind of conflict that can divert their attention from the war on the Middle Class and turning us into Indentured Servants. Having student loans that last 20 years into your employment is just a part of that -- but it has been happening for the past 30 years. This is just the final assault so that poor Muslims and poor Christians can blame each other.

i had a thought late last night that may indeed have some measure of merit.

overtly fox commentary presents itself as being anti-obama administration.

However covertly they do utilize subliminal neuro-linguistical tactics to influence and control their target demographic to make their opposition seem less threatening, by making them seem less capable of holding the positions they hold.

i have also seen/heard fox utilize psyop tactics to subversively send signals to the subconscious mind which may subliminally suggest to said demographic to promote their target audience to be more passive in their views and resistance against our first black president.

so the thought i am having and the point of this post is:

could some programming on fox be aimed towards long existing militia groups that are pro-propaganda against obama, while subliminally influencing passive behavior rather than acts of violence?

i'm thinking this may be the case.

fox news may in part be utilizing known psyop tools (neuro-linguistic programming/subliminal influences) to incorporate a more timid mindset in their targeted demographic of those who would be most against an obama administration, under the guise of being further right wing than they are for the benefit of granting access to the opinions they wish to alter.

this sort of makes sense to me. not sure how well i worded it, hope it is understood what i am inferring.

NewCorp meets with Prince Alsaud!

Rotana board discusses News Corp tieup

Trade Arabia

The top management of Saudi-based media group Rotana met under the chairmanship of Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Alsaud to discuss the latest developments at Rotana after its strategic alliance with global media giant News Corp.

Prince Alwaleed has a strong presence and influence in media through his investments in media and entertainment in the Arab world, and beyond like the Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG), News Corporation and Rotana Holding, said a company statement.

So how is it again that Fox's ties to the Cordoba house "terrorist funder" don't matter??

Something stinks to high heaven here.

What does that even mean? Are you trying to say that the left are terrorists? I'm confused by your statement as it is absolutely contradictory. Fox IS funding Muslim terrorists, whether it be vicariously, or not it doesn't change the fact. They knowingly started blasting the mosque at ground zero, after their boss gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to have the construction started. I don't think they are "Embarrassed" by their boss, they clearly have a separate agenda. Maybe it has something to do with him, and Ole' Mr. Murdoch starting their own middle-eastern news network together to play both sides? I think it's kind of like cheating in an online game of euchre, the easiest way to win is to have a friend on the other team. It seems to me like they want to play Dungeon Masters to the world, just like the Rockefeller's did during WW2.

But that's just my opinion.

I don't think you get the point. Fox News blast the Cordoba house for being terrorist funded by some unnamed guy. Then we find out the unnamed guy is the Prince of Saudi Arabia and also owns a very large portion of Fox News' stocks. Second largest in fact.

In my thread I explain that he doesn't just own stock. He owns Class B, voting rights stock. Aside from that, News Corp (Fox News) also owns hefty shares in his corporations. They are IN BUSINESS TOGETHER.

Yet we are supposed to be scared of the guy funding the Cordoba House when he is the same guy who gets to take part in the business decisions Fox News makes and vice versa?
