To [Marilyn] Bess, her website is a hobby. To the city of Philadelphia, it’s a potential moneymaker, and the city wants its cut.

Paying to blog? I tend to think this goes a bit over board.
Maybe this is a way to discourage free speech.
Time will tell I guess.

It isn't often that I read something that makes my draw drop and then leaves me wordless.

Well, right now my draw is on my desk and I have no idea at all what to say about this.

I've never been paid to blog, but if somebody somewhere decided to tax or charge me for the posts I make or for my personal blog??? I'd be out a LOT of money.
