First, I love ATS and if nothing changed that'd be good for me at least for the next 20 years!

Anyway, I looked by search and did not find anything on this so what I would like to know is why there isn't the option to find your last post in any certain thread? Sometimes threads get long and if I could get right to my last post I wouldn't have to scroll several pages within a thread.

Thanks ATS!

Mike

yep i also find it extremely annoying, to the point i don't bother anymore to find my last post in a certain tread among hundreds of other posts. Particularly to check who and how people responded to my post.

Would be great to have sucha feature to pinpoint the page where one has posted something in a certain thread

there is feature where one can find there post, but not the page in that tread and eventual replies to it.

Sometimes it can be annoying when you can't pick up where you left off without browsing through every page.

What I usually do is, I go to my profile page and hit the [posts] link above. This will take me to every post i created in the last 30 days or so. The post you made in the tread will be listed here with a time/date stamp.

Go back to the thread and with the date/time as reference you will be able to find your post more easily..

That's the only thing I can think off....

Good luck.

This has come up so many times that *I think* the new 2010 ATS intends to make it possible. Likewise there was some talk about an optional u2u feature to let you know about replies. I hope it is 'optional' cos my email is drowning in notices from websites.

I wouldn't mind an option to tag the last post I read in a thread.

If a thread really takes off it can be difficult to find the point where you left it, and I don't like to miss any part of the discussion, especially if I want to contribute. I wouldn't want to repeat what someone else has already said.

Currently, I have to make a note of the page number in the handy jotter I have beside my computer. It isn't a bad idea to note down the page number of one's last post, either.
