but some people claim that the KKK play around with the occult and stuff.

From what little experience I've had with this ridiculous group, the are totally NOT occult in any way. In fact, they are staunch christian protestants.

Think about it...
If you were seriously into the occult and the KKK found out about it, you'd be in some bad trouble with them.
They's probably burn you at the stake.
So, I doubt these "good ole boys" are into anything they believe to be "occult"

Well its comprable to Hitler. What is seemingly a Christian based group of zealots is in fact a hard core bed of the occult. Although the Klan preaches returning to Christian roots, their titles alone raise the question. Some members close affiliation with the American Nazi's and their fascination with German artifacts has to raise certain questions. I agree that on their surface they preach Christian fundamentalism but in reality I think some are guilty of occult practices.

I think one thing we all should have learned is not to assume we know the interworkings of any orginization. Could they be into the occult? sure. Could they be totally against the occult? sure. Speculation based on who we think make up this group is wrong, and often times misleading.

Don't fall into the trap that because you think their ideas or agenda is of simpleton thinking, that the KKK is lead by simpletons or was founded by them. The same kind of men that use "good" orginizations for their personal agenda, also use "bad" orginizations. While those men are oppertunistic and illmorale, they are far from simpletons.

I believe that the idea that they are just "good ol boys" has allowed the group to continue. Underestimating people is the best way for those people to succeed.

It is hard for me to say this but my granddad was in the Klan in the 40-50's. He told me a few things about them but he was pretty secretive even after leaving them. He said they were for the most part a racist social club, and when he got older he began to realize how wrong their ideals were and he left. Today they are pretty much in the open in the South. Except in some of the isolated small towns there is very little cross burning and lynching. Funny story, I was driving through Mississippi and I saw an Adopt-a-Mile sign sponsered by the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Hows that for giving back to the community.
I dont think that many are into the occult, but as with any religion or society, or group there are always off-branches that are more radical than the main stream. Look at the Muslim world. I in no way defend them or their group, but I thought this was relevant to the discussion. If they really wanted to disassociate themselves with the past they would drop the KKK title and rename their group, so there is still some sort of pride with the past there.

What about the NRA and the KKK are thier not ties between the two and to say the KKK is christain based is outerly absurd! But then again I suppose the church did try to tell people slavery was ok in the bible and that is true to a degree but if you know how to read like most of these fools probably don't. You might notice every rule about slavery was broken by the whites, more over the punishement for such things is usaully death to the slave owner in the bible. Especially kidnapping slaves which is to be punsihed by death, besides fear based organization like this one and so many others are usually started by people you least expect. They use such things to kept the dull wited doing thier dirty work for them, the consiquences are of no real concern to them it's more about keeping us occupied while they take all the money. Those who die mean nothing to them on ethier side! Lastly those who might read this and are part of any such fear base groups you might want to start trying to disprove your beliefs or ever prove them, because science and much much more has proven beyond any shadow of a dought that all men are africans. So to say you hate africans or jews or asains or hispanics or any other natives is foolish and you might be suprised by your own family tree.

I dont see why they burn crosses if they are supposedly Christian.

Proclaiming a Message of hope and deliverance for White Christian America !

The above is a quote from their site KKK
So it appears they are Christian. But a seemingly very warped form of Christian. Arent they also very much against Catholics? Ill find out more about this. I know some KKK members, not to mention neo-nazis (not by choice), and Ill ask them a bit about their practices and if they ever dabble in the occult.

I believe, and I could be wrong, that a burning cross means judgement(or atleast it does to them). Those that they do it to, means they have judged them.

Not quite sure why you brought the NRA into it, I'm sure members of the KKK are in the NRA, but what does that have to do with the NRA? The majority of the members in the NRA aren't KKK members.

Outerly absurd? How so? They claim to be christian based, therefor they are christian based, doesn't mean they practice christianity correctly. Since no one has a monopoly on christianity, no one can say their not. Only thier God can say differently.

I don't mean to nit-pick (but this IS nit-picky), but neither Hitler nor the Nazi ideology were Christian in any way. They had a funny philosophy with elements of Norse mythology and a very warped idea of Neitzsche.

THe propagand though did support a very Wagnerian/Christian outlook on the youth and purpose the German people. I agree that Hitler with his own private astrologist and all the money Goebells put into researching Nostradamus that they were clearly occultists. Not to be nit picky in return.

i had remembered coming across something in my reading about cross burning and the origins of it, and remembered that is had celtic, or more accurately scottish roots. Back in the 14th century, the scots would use a burning cross as a 'call to arms'. And after searching the net for a while i found info on the origins of the KKK being formed by immigerent scots. Some of the klans traditions have ties to the "society of the Horseman's word" or "the brotherhood of the horseman's word", which was a secret society that claimed to have power over horses, etc. There wasnt a lot of info on it that i found, being new at this type of earch, and i don know how reliable the sites are. Seem to be from Orkney.
Aparently there are a lot of ties between the KKk and the Scots (

I have to disagree with this statement. The Nazi Party outlawed the various occult organizations in Germany, including the Theosophical Society, the Hermetic Brotherhood of Light, the Brotherhood of Saturn, and O.T.O.

It is true that Hitler always consulted an astrologer, but this is superstition, not occultism. Occultism concerns the hidden knowledge of the properties of Nature: and, in the West, is usually linked to the Qabalah, which the Nazis detested because it is of Hebrew origin.

Hitlers basing all of his military maneuvers on the whims of his astrologer and the visions of Nostradamus shows not that he was an occultist, but that he was a fruitcake.

Fiat Lvx.

Yes.

It is true that Hitler always consulted an astrologer

Astrology is... extrapolation of future events and attempted discovery of knowledge through the patterns and cycles of celestial bodies.

Occultism concerns the hidden knowledge of the properties of Nature

You mean, like the hidden knowledge contained within the property known as movement which is exhibited by celestial bodies? Why yes!

How Occult!

And Hitler proclaimed Christianity, on German soldier helmet's you will find prayers to god inscribed, often referencing Jesus. Hitler just took his form of Christianity from the 1000-1300 era, by acting as if he and his party and their ideals were like knights crushing an evil.

IRONIC CRAZY FACT ABOUT HITLER: He often slept until two in the afternoon, then proceeded to watch a British movie, his favourites were safaris. He was positively in love with British culture, but he yearned to destroy it once they threatened to destroy him.

Back on topic: I, unfortunately, live in the base of KKK'ism in Canada. It no longer is, but our town of approximately 100,000 is still home to a 90%+ Italian/German/British white society. There is little to no racism present these days, but the KKK used to have their Canadian headquarters here and hold annual rallies - this was all more than a hundred years ago of course, but, still unsettling. Another neat thing started here was Canadian Communism. Under the startling amount of Fascists who lived here, the polar opposites found each other and started Communism in Canada. This is a very bizarre place sometimes.

Well, thats me fecked then. Born a Catholic, now a pagan. Definitely an enemy of the KKK. Now, why doesn't that bother me ?

Don't let it bother you Pisky. If you were born a Catholic, as far as the Klan is concerned you were a Pagan to begin with!

Could you outline the rules for practicing christianity "correctly" ?? I'd very much like to see that set of maxims.

The KKK, The Masons, and The Mormons had extremely strong ties. Here is a site about the KKK and the Masons . Masons and The KKK

The KKK and the mormons have in common that they abuse Christianity for their retarded ideas. Not only do they misexplain parts of the bible to justify their own deeds, they also make Christianity appear just as wrong as they are.
A lie mixed with truth if often worse than a pure lie, and as predicted in the bible, satan and his demons keep inspiring people to keep people away from true Christianity, in every possible way.

Let me give you my two cents:

I don't care *who's* behind him, I just want to see someone kick every one of those Klansmen in the balls so hard that their spleens come out their mouths, bounce back up their butt, and switch places with their livers.
