Found this story on Slashdot of all places, was pretty surprised to see them covering something that has been part of the conspiracy mainstream for so long.

Of course we know that weather modification technology exists, but is their really any truth behind the idea that HAARP was created as a weapon for just that purpose ? It is certainly starting to look that way.

The above is a snippet from the article, go there and watch the videos. The one with the sound frequency explanation might change your mind on whether haarp is indeed a weapon. In fact in patents for the pentagon if im not mistaken, it states uses for weather modification and other interesting uses.

Uhm, but didn't Russia once (still does) have a radio station and program very similar to HAARP...and that's actually why the HAARP conspiracy theory exists...because of the lack of rain on the west coast when the Russian station was turned on?

Why do HAARP-conspiracists consistently cite "scholars" or "researchers" implying that they would have technical knowledge of HAARPS capabilities who turn out to be people with some ordinary or obscure degree in polisci or philosophy or something like that?

I really can't get my head round why people have so much trouble believing in the HAARP "conspiracy". I really don't think its that difficult, Nicola Tesla talked about doing it 80+ years ago, imagine what you could do with billions of dollars at your disposal and a clandestine element to government! and this-

Now. Have you ever wondered who Alvin Toffler is? What is his profession - is it expert on undisclosed eco-weapons or Futurologist?
Is it so unconventional that a Futurologist would talk about non-existent, yet to be developed threats (such as climatic warfare)?

Also note that Cohen is clearly answering a question about false threats and then goes over to discussing Toffler. It's clearly unknown-unknown's territory he's referring to, and not actual weapons that he has witnesses in his capacity as Secretary of Defense.

No article that makes such an idiotic statement is worthy of reading or taking seriously. Those colorful lights have been observed and reported before earthquakes almost as long as earthquakes themselves have been reported.

everything is energy, everything can be manipulated by energy in some way, if you can figure out how. its not rocket science.

this was from a mainstream tv documentary screened not long after the attack on haiti. the geologist expert talks about haiti being "zapped", now correct me if i'm wrong but i'm sure zapped isn't a commonly used geological term, the programme wasn't live, they could have re-shot the scene and made it sound more professional.- www.youtube.com...

Wrong they are not a natural phenomenon. The lights occur around the time of earthquakes sometimes but they occur at other times too and are connected to radiant white mother ships and behave intelligently and can communicate and organise themselves into amazing symmetrical patterns.

HAARP doesn't generate even a miniscule fraction of the energy that comes from the sun. So to suggest that a bunch of metal poles sticking out of the ground holds much more sway over the climate than the nearby STAR that produces all the life-giving energy for this planet...

Give me a break.

Anyone who buys this crap, try to get your focus off the politics of this fake money-making global warming racket.

The SUN causes climate change. Nothing else. Not Al "Happy Ending" Gore and all his 'carbon', not pollution, not aliens, not government projects.

I had been wondering on this the other day and created a thread on such a weapon here in light of the Pakistan floods and Russian fires.

Really does make you wonder when you see threads such as this one we are discussing here.

Although I didn't point towards any particulr possible weapon, I'm still kinda curious as to exactly what is going on.

Just as an example, the Russian fires could be used as an excuse to promote further this so called global warming..

But why? Apart from the obvious effect of costing countries billions in clean ups and fixes, why would you want a certain group of climate 'scientists' to make more money from climate change? Unless they are funding other stuff behind the scenes..

Is there no way using numbers and some cool equation to tell , buy the math and science , what exactly happens when something like HAARP is turned on ?

We know enough about radio / energy and we also know a lot about the Earths atmosphere and magnetic field to tell mathematically what happens when something like HAARP is used , no?
