Well, well, well. Ol Harry Reid must have forgotten that his words may be edited on the Congressional record, but video in modern day last forever.

I wonder why his position has changed? Do you think it could be political?

Do you think that maybe his stance on the mosque being built, has anything to do with which way the wind blows in public opinion. Most progressives will say and do anything to stay in power. You know, things like LIE, CHEAT, STEAL and then do the EXACT opposite of what they state. Kinda reminds you of most politicians.

Also, have you heard about Piglosi calling for an investigation into people that are funding the debate against the mosque. I wonder if she is going to investigate Reid? Kind of makes you wonder where progressives the likes of Piglosi gets her ideas? Let me see, the debate against the mosque has brought up questions where it is getting it's funding. Well, look no further than the US government. It is paying for the trip through the mideast for the imam behind the mosque.

Kinda begs the question, is the government behind both sides of the uproar? Are they fomenting this whole brouhaha?!

Immigration would cease to be a problem if we deported these politicians to Mexico.

the immigration issue always puzzled me seeing as how all of us here in america immigrated here at some point unless you are an indigenous native american. america was built on the principal that everyone is equal and everyone is equally welcome. people cry about their rights all day and then try to suppress others rights. on the other hand how hard could it really be to go through the proper channels and immigrate here legally like everyone else? it would seem to make more sense as you would have access to the perks other americans enjoy such as unemployment benefits and welfare.. anyway you can say what you want about the illegals but if you were in their shoes you would be headed north just as fast as they are.. i know i would.

Well heck, we might just as well make Mexico our 51st state.

There is a reason for sovereign borders, at least there USE to be.

The absolute destruction of the citizens sovereign rights and the standard knowledge of that, has eroded our glory.

Making this country a nanny state heaven and haven for others that DO NOT want to learn their own sovereignty has lead us to this point and time.

Time to rid ourselves of people that think that the government is there to their parents. Tell me, how do you suggest we pay off the 120+Trillion of unfunded liabilities, make everyone slaves in a communist gulag?

This was back quite awhile ago. Probably when Reagan gave amnesty. Anything to be against the opposing team. Then they go in the locker room and pat each other's butts.

Yeah, after I posted the comment, I went to look for the date. It was 3 years into the Clinton Admin I think. Been awhile.

Anyway, the only reason I brought this thing to the table was the FACT that politicians do NOT change their minds for the purpose of the good of the nation, they do it to keep their POWER.

They already have enough money, they are just power freaks and evil, IMHO.

Agree, this is a good example of what you say.

Back then he was a junior senator, maybe unsure of whether he would win reelection, and so he had to appeal to his state's voters and common sense.

Now he's an important guy, he's been able to arrange to have a doofus (can a doofus be female?) to run against by the application of some sort of money or influence, and his reelection is not a problem; it will be arranged. So he's instructed to speak and vote as he does.

that said remember remember the month of november and hopefully the political winds blow mr reid right out of a job.
