WWII Propoganda Posters

There are some really stirring images amongst those posters.
Would they have the same effect today?
I personally would be glad to see pro - American and British posters nowadays, maybe with messages of encouragement for our Armed Forces. What do you think anyone?

The image of the black chap playin the sax, well to be honest think i would probably get band if i translated that. Personaly i think Germany basicaly produced a far better quality of propoganda, for some reason it just seems, visualy more affective, there use of starks colours and angular lines. Although there racial undertones are a tad more extreme than that of the Allies, but still with regards to Japan you can see racism seems perfectly acceptable when it suits.

Half the slogans were national socialism.

Thanks for that. I believe the Germans used a slightly more pointed propaganda form of literature as well. Although, there are some that the Americans used as well, that I'm hesitant to post.

Well it shows how much the propaganda machines in WW2 were alike.

So after operation Paperclip they made sure the US and Nazi propaganda were combined into the current CIA...
