The only reason gods or religions are useful here is because they provide the warriors for both sides. Other than that, gods and religions are totally insignificant, and when they have outlived their usefulness, they'll be destroyed.

I fully believe that having no religion is best for mankind.

All religion not just Muslim or Christianity should be looked at.

People have questioned my beliefs being a Luciferian and I say they are insignificant compared to what is good for mankind. Religion should have to be proved in order for it to be accepted. So as no religion is based on fact yet then it should be abolished and that includes mine. To one and all. Mankind should be placed above those of individuals beliefs.

Without the Satan of the Bible Luciferians would not have a deity,

JMHO.

When I told my satanist son this, he turned to a form of Christianity.

Ah, I can not comment on Satanism as I am not a Satanist. But your son may just be experimenting.

IMHO
Lucifer is just a biblical description of characters that existed long before Christianity...
Biblical Luciferianism is an attempt at stealling legitimacy from these older beings.
Semyaza is an older term for the same dude, the leader of the fallen who also appears in other cultural myths around the world.
Just like the flood does, and in much older belief systems then Christianity.

Yes I understand that as well, when I told my son about the Yezidi, it took all the fun out of being different I guess,

lol

en.wikipedia.org...

My personal opinion is that they might be able to trace their sect back to Sumeria from my studies, but that just my theory.

I've lived in the US several times over the past 28 years, and I've noticed a worrying trend during that time: Religious paranoia increased by A LOT, especially after 9/11. The evangelical right grew a lot stronger and are spreading their xenophobic ideas all over the place, including the MSM. The problem with that is that religion isn't based on rationality and logic, and if it influences politics, the outcome is only one thing...VERY VERY VERY VERY BAD!

Wanna be religious? Does it make you happy? FINE, you have the RIGHT to be happy and believe whatever you want, a right that was given by you through the constitution. However, that doesn't give you the right to push your religious beliefs on others, or trying to cut the liberties and religious freedom (any freedom really that doesn't harm anyone) of others...if you're doing that, you are violating a core principal on which the country was founded.

Sadly that's EXACTLY what's happening at the moment thanks to xenophobia and paranoia lead through irrational and illogical religious beliefs. Just look at the whole NYC mosque discussions...the damn thing isn't even gonna be built on ground zero, but several blocks away. Yet the religious right is trying soooooo hard to make it seem as if the thing is going to be built right on top of GZ, with a Osama statue sowing everyone the finger in front of it. Hell, you even hear crazy ideas like "Sharia's coming to the US".

The US went from being a leader in the world to a country that doesn't even follow its core principles anymore, freedom and liberty! As long as religious xenophobia and paranoia governs the country, that won't change. Since 2001, the US has been turning into the very thing they despise...a country where it's ok to cut ppl's liberties and freedom at will. Sad, and I really hope they can turn it around because I have a lot of good friends there

are you scared of death? yes?
that is why they have religion.
you can not cope with the nothingness of dieing.
so you believe in a god who will make it all nice for you!
that when you die god will welcome you to a heaven.
and you will live for ever and have any thing you like.

if you all believe that this is your only live.
your only chance.
then you would be more careful in what you do.
and how you treat others as they will kill you if you are bad to them.
would a muslim (or any religion) be so ready to die.
if they know that there is nothing more.
no 72 virgins. god would be sick of making them any way.

death is the end. there is nothing more.
so treat this life like it is sacret.
as it is the only one you will have.
dont give any one a reason to kill you.
and dont kill any one.
you will take life from them.
and you only get one....

I do not think religion was invented to cope with the idea of death. I would imagine that would of been a by product of having a god to believe in.

I am of the view that religion was created and used to control the masses and bend their will. Its the greatest for of Mind control known to man. It a tool used by the powerful to keep that control.

Actually I have read the "book" in fact i have read three of the main religious books. I have read the Quaran (koran), the Bible and the Torah.

I was not amazed. the only thing I found amazing was how each books stories were similar and that people actually are enlightened and believe it to be true.

You should red something else like a comic and see that stories without a single shred of PROOF are just that, Stories. Nice stories but stories all the same. How appropriate the god only reveals his Mystery's to the believers. What Mystery has he shown to you? Anything of note?

I'm messed up? I see. Dazed and confused? Nope.

Perhaps it went over your head that my statement was a political one. There are those who USE religion and the religious to get them to their end game, and then they destroy both religion and the religious. But then again, more people know this than will admit it because they have their own agendas too. And they think they'll "win" too.

Bottom line is careful who you let use you as a tool. And if it's you who are yourself using it as a tool, know there are those who won't stand for that either.

Live and freaking let live and don't be a pawn for someone.

Tell me, o wise one, how you came to these conclusions? Have you died once before in your lifetime?

And why would life be sacred if there was only nothingness? The universe is ending and all in it will have been for nothing, including life. There would be nothing more special about life than a grain of sand. For what reason would it be sacred?

Illumination. Once you've been illuminated by the light you cannot doubt there is a God. Some people who have been illuminated have even seen heaven.

Religion is not the problem nor is a belief in God. There are plenty of atheists who would be willing to have a go at you for what yo have in your pocket. Stalin was hardly a religious person nor was MAo ro Pol Pot, take your pick. Genghis Khan would have led the Golden Horder without any belief in any dieties. It is in our nature to squabble and fight. It no more requires a belief in God than it requires a belief in quantum physics.
