I used to work at a truck stop in New York along the Canadian border. We'd get French drivers from Quebec. I learned French in high school. So I
started speaking French to our French customers and they liked that. My boss liked it a lot too, because most of these guys have like five tanks on
their trucks and when they fill up, they really fill up. I have problems with call centers from time to time, their accents are so thick. I had a
pleasant experience, one time the call center was in Hong Kong, the lady I spoke with had a slight British accent.
