Was Micheal Jackson a Eunuch?

Ive never written in skunk works before, so please if this is the wrong place please move.

There are certain things that we have come to know concerning M.J, some liked and of course some disliked, and I wanted to put certain "theories" into the mix, so please bare with me.

Eunuch- def. A eunuch (pronounced /ˈjuːnək/) (Greek: "Ευνούχος") is a castrated man, usually one castrated early enough to have major hormonal consequences.

Now, though we think this isn't done in this day and age, and years ago, eunuch's had particular functions, here are some, Over the millennia since, they have performed a wide variety of functions in many different cultures such as: courtiers or equivalent domestics, treble singers, religious specialists, government officials, military commanders, and guardians of women or harem servants.

Now here was the part that caught my attention.
Castrato Singers:
Eunuchs castrated before puberty were also valued and trained in several cultures for their exceptional voices, which retained a childlike and other-worldly flexibility and treble pitch. Such eunuchs were known as castrati. Unfortunately the choice had to be made at an age when the boy would not yet be able to consciously choose whether to sacrifice his sexual potency, and there was no guarantee that the voice would remain of musical excellence after the operation.

Now we all know, that M.J sounded like he was eight years old his whole life, and there was almost nothing that his family wouldn't do for the career of their children in order to stay in the business. This would not be that "unusual", especially for those that are aware of what happens in the music business, and how poorer families with a large family was usually willing to "sacrifice" one in order to get fame and fortune.

His voice did not change much from “ABC-123″, to Thriller. He got bigger, his voice got bigger, but it never really broke. His songs were timeless and there was much more to him than just a singing voice. His creative genius, hard work and love for his art make him an unparalleled talent. His music will be listened to and enjoyed for the next 500 years. We were all privileged to have lived in the same era as he.

Now with all this said, in the music world, and with the right coaxing this wouldn't have seemed like such a sacrifice to someone with talent.

With all this being said, of course I cannot verify if this was actually done, but it does fill in allot of questions that have come across for the many years of his life, about his sexual preference, his g/f's, and his children.

Ive often wondered, even if he didn't want to have relations with the women, why would he not want to even donate the necessary component to be the biological father to his children? Why chance that coming into play?

Also his form of "innocence", where he seemed to really not be able to grow up, or seemed very child like, while it was perceived as "with intent", I bring the question, what if that wasn't even possible. If he had the procedure done before he actually had relations, then there would be no real need for it (I'm not saying its impossible), just unlikely, if he had this particular procedure done.

I bring this up, because I have never had the opportunity to view it in a different light. If I had to call his family into play at the time that he began to be famous, and the conditions of the amount of family he had, and his home life, I don't really see it as impossible.

You couldn't fake the sometime complete "peter pan" act that he had going, it was to watch him in awe when interviewed and asked "adult" questions. If there was possibly no sexual drive, then I think some questions can be raised on the subject.

BTW this is my opinion, in no way am I making any claim of his either innocence or guilt. If that were the case, then I would willingly state it, but I just don't know, but please all other opinions are of course welcome, please no bashing (if possible).

Didn't the one child that he was accused of fiddling, have to describe his penis to the court? I think I remember something along those lines. How could you describe something that isn't there, unless that was the description?

Anyway, I do not believe MJ to be a Eunuch, rather I just believe his success whent to his head and made him a wacko.

If he had, as you speculate, been castrated, this would have prevented him from producing viable sperm, wouldn't it ?

LOL. Thanks Airspoon that made me cry with laughter, I think you should maybe look up what happens when you get castrated. I'll give you a clue, it doesn't involve removing the penis.

I believe that Eunuchs had everything cut off (not just castration of the testacles), and were thus used for sex purposes by men, pre-Christian era. A Eunuch isn't anyone who has been castrated, rather it was a way of life or a whole other echelon of sexual identity.

I had never considered this. The only thing I wonder about is how this would be kept secret. Police photographed his junk, so wouldn't they have noticed a deflated bag? Unless MJ had testicle implants.


The castration theory does explain a whole lot though.

Ah OK I stand corrected, I wasn't aware that castation for Eunuch's involved removing the penis.

Honestly I often wondered if MJ might not be undergoing chemical castration on a voluntary basis.

As for the rest, it's just a general rule of mine that I try not to speak ill of the dead.

The term eunuch is used to define both the complete removal of the penis and the castration of the testicles, the process of becoming a eunuch and what it entails changes depending on purpose, religion, and time period. The creation of eunuchs has been going on for over 3000 years and of course the "technology" and the process did evolve. When your looking for answers its best not to take the first one that pops up and that way you won't find your self ridiculing others about something you don't fully understand and thus saving yourselves from looking really really foolish. I thought I would add this little tidbit from the bible that shows "god" does have a sense of humor

This was in no way a form of disrespect for the dead, but a way to possibly put some doubts that have surrounded him while he was alive to the surface, to possibly clear his name, or even help to have a further understanding for the possible sacrifice he made (with or without) his consent.

What we can agree upon, I think, is that Michael Jackson, the entertainer, was probably the most influential musical figure of the 20th century and that influence will be felt for a very long time!

The arms and legs of many castrati were unusually long as compared to the torso (the long bones never stopped growing), which made them look distorted.

This description makes me doubt that Michael Jackson underwent an actual castration.

As the castrato's body grew, his lack of testosterone meant that his epiphyses (bone-joints) did not harden in the normal manner. Thus the limbs of the castrati often grew unusually long, as did the bones of their ribs.
