An investment banker who yammered about geology and oil drilling technology (and a lot of other stuff he knew nothing about) had a heart attack.

He who yammered.

Right. The only oil industry insider who had the the guts to talk to the media about BP's lies, DIES right in the middle of the critical oil capping phage. Everyone who saw him doing it for the time he had left (if they knew anything about big-oil and it's relationship to big-gov) feared for his life and expected something like this.

Mr. Phage, respected member who "so many turn to for truth":
Why are you one of the first to knock this possible blockbuster down, when you have no evidence either yay or nay as to what the circumstances of Mr. Simmons death were?

This at the time when we were about ready to see if the well was "actually sealed". Now one of the only guys with the cajones to tell us is dead. Please explain your seemingly "preemptive analysis" of the simple cause of his death..... with many billlions of corporate dollars hanging on the outcome of the truth of the damage of the BP SPILL.

edit: "when you have no evidence either yay or nay as to what the circumstances of Mr. Simmons death were?" if you do please post sources. Thank you.

Since when has big oil's (is there such a thing as small oil?) relationship to big gov (is there such a thing as small gov?) been a deep dark secret? It doesn't take a "whistleblower" to demonstrate that.

How come that "second leak" never amounted to anything? But who knows, maybe BP will end up bankrupt like he said. Or do you think assassinating him would prevent that from happening?

I was asking you to substantiate your flippant repsonse to his cause of death, so early on in the game, so to speak.

edit: Oh yeah, with your "godlike wisdom" please, sources and all.
Nice try at diverting....

Was his family home? Was he dressed to go swimming? How deep is his pool? A few among many questions I need answered before I jump to conclusions. Of course, take in his age and what medical history I can find to make a deduction from that. He could have been an alcoholic and it eventually caught up with him. Or opening his big mouth caught up with him. Which ever it is, this is interesting. Might have been a good business move by someone.

He was 67 years old, and everyone dies at some point. All men in my family die before they're 70, so no this apparently heart attack does not seem suspicious to me, but I do feel bad for his family.

Oh, and I don't believe in peak oil either.

Yes, there are small individually owned and operated oil rigs. They make up "small oil" and all the other varieties of small business oil service providers. I live in an oil town, and I live in the area of Oklahoma where 3 of the largest oil & natural gas providers originated.

We have here obvious fodder for an even bigger picture. So what I suggest to you to do is, take note of this situation. Don't spend too much time speculating, I just want you to take in all the scenery. Possibly he was killed because of what he said about BP. Possibly he got killed by another enemy not publicly known. Of course his death could of been natural. But this is a conspiracy forum and not a health one so for the purposes of this discussion, let's assume his death was either caused by BP or an unestablished 3rd Party. What motives are there? Clearly BP has motives for murder, what would motivate a 3rd party to kill him? So in taking in the big picture, keep that in mind. Then consider, has BP done anything else wrong? They've lied to the public, they've destroyed ecosystems, they profit from war and the suffering of "peasentry" (the little people), have there been other reports of people who have caused concern to BP who have died similar or "sudden" deaths? '

If we take the entire picture of his role in the energy saga, and we can apply certain dynamics that only happen from one party or another in a pattern that dictates his death, then I'm sure this is a relevant subject. Who and what was the cause of his death given the big story would lead the flood to believe it was BP, and rightly so it probably was. But let's not jump on the devil just because the baby is dead, because mama could of drowned him in the bath tub.

Read your first post and afterwards, ya, this man's death does warrant further looking into. However, according to the link provided...

According to police reports, Simmons suffered a heart attack while in a hot tub at his home on North Haven.

If he croaked in his pool, I'd say there's a decent chance he really did have a heartattack due to the physical activity taking place and his age of 67.
The police report says he had the heartattack in a hottub, nothing further.
Was he doing laps in the pool before relaxing in the hottub?
Was he not in the pool before the hottub and endured no physical exercise before he entered the tub?
Waiting for more information before I pass judgement

I would like to say suspicious, however, he does not look healthy in the photograph.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/8a2ea488c4bc.jpg[/atsimg]

He looks like he possibly drank heavily and had arteriosclerosis.

But, you could be right maybe someone murdered him.

I still can't believe so many people still think the Polish plane crash was a accident........now that was a conspiracy.

Very interesting, but I don't think I've heard of him before. Will have to read. Drowning is a CIA classic, fyi.

I know people who run marathons and don't drink at all, who have a skin condition that looks just like that (Rosacea). I don't see how you can tell if he has arteriosclerosis unless you have his MRIs/CAT scans?

Please stop spouting BS unless you have proof about this man and his cause of death!!!

Proper cause for concern indeed.

Here we have the most publicly notable opponent of BP's transactions regarding Deepwater Horizon - Wasn't he even the one that claimed there was a MUCH larger spill going unreported.

I'll certainly be watching this story. And no, I had no yet heard the news, many thanks for the OP.

you're right...this is just too damn coincidental...they have all sorts of drugs that induce a heart attack that have been around for years...BP and the oil industry wanted him shut up and they got it.
but as usual, this will simply be swept under the proverbial rug of the MSM, and ho hum...move along...nothing to see here...

might i also add...this sends a chill down every person that wants to spill their guts about BP...message sent, obviously

I'm stunned too! I've tried to post a reply several times, but feel I'm at a loss of words. You are right, it is like something from a movie.

Hardly any of the main stream media is mentioning his ties to the BP cover up. I know famous people have pre-written obits, but you would think that could at least acknowledge it.

So sad.

You both are right and the movie is called The End of all Freedom and the slavery of the world part 2. Yes part 2!
Didn't the Illuminati get caught in or around the Renaissance times because a courier got hit by lightening?
Where is a well placed lightening bolt when you need one?!
It looks like a movie because the entire thing is scripted. They put the scripts in place first (house/senate bills to law) then something happens and it comes down on who - the criminal? Naw. US? Yup that's about right.

Any shill that comes in this thread and says this isn't suspicious should either have their head examined or is a paid informant. PERIOD!

There are no such things as coincidences....If this doesn't concern you then I frankly don't know what will.

?

I would think the 'powers that be' would WANT him alive. He spreads such gloriously side-tracking, know-to-be-false disinfo, he serves their interests quite well.

Also, I just HEART when people here use the term 'shill' to malign anyone who doesnt agree with them.

If the gulf of Mexico incident isn't a big deal then why are they making it a big deal?

Why so much news coverage and the underwater cams,if this is just another "common occurrence in the Gulf"?

Yep...gotta feeling he opened his mouth once too often and paid the price. You can complain about governments and people and politicians all you want, but this is what happens when you badmouth the REAL rulers of the world.

Conspiracy theorists are so predictable!

Any time someone famous dies who happens to be invovled in government, or politics, or large corporations, or banks with their hands in the cookie jar.... there is going to be a conspiracy created around said death.

It never fails.

Seriously, the guy was old, and looked very unhealthy. I am not surprised. Sure there can be something more, but in this day and age bribing people with large sums of money to shut them up is usually first option over killing them.

Anyway... conspire on my friends...

Matt Simmons was murdered. BP/Gov/CIA.

Are any of you aware of the MI6 bumping off of David Kelly in the UK, during the build-up to the Iraq invasion?
Mr Kelly knew about the criminal roles that Israel/US/UK (the real Axis of Evil), played in the covert operation that involved the theft of WMDs from S. Africa in order to implicate Iraq. (Long story short).
Kelly's knowledge was too risky for these governments to tolerate, so time for chop-chop.....
Kelly was found "suicided" in the bushes around his HOME, after telling his wife he was going for a "short walk".

Addendum: How do we know it was an MI6 chop job and not his own suicide?
He apparently "killed himself" by the hand that was unaccustomed to do any 'work'! ....A shoddy MI6 job!)
