Special Forces - the best?

What about the Isreali special forces. I hear that they are cold blooded hunters that will stop for nothing.
Any truth to that?

I think you're thinking of Mossad, the Isreali Intellligence. They probabl have a paramilitary wing, but they're not SF. Mossad sound pretty ruthless, they kinda have to be.
The Isreali SF are:

Sayeret Golani (they specialise in mountain warfare)
Sayeret Mat'kal (Commando's)
and Sayeret Tzanhanin, which are kinda like US Rangers, but smaller.

For my part, I feel that there is a total schemata that imcompasses all of the Isreali forces and is tied to their ethnic / religious afflication that is hard for a non jew to appreciate.
Honestly I'm not well versed in the details of the Isreali Special Ops other than the Mossad's reputation (within the intelligence community) which is well earned and respected.
Essentially if they are after you there isnt a place on earth that they wont go to .. to get to you.. ruthless is a nice way of putting it.

Well i have to say SAS/SBS i'd rather go to battle with them by my side than anyone else...but if i had the chance i just wouldnt go

Army Rangers are pretty awesome, I bet they have the best snipers on earth.

Actullay I think a Britsh SAS agent ranked as th Best sniper in the world.

ER..no agents, juss troopers and stuff.
A complete Squadron wins on all levels as it comprises of Mou. Tp Mo. Tp Ice cream boys and of course Boat Tp. Everything you could need. Oh and if you bring in a Regt. Then you can add CT teams and Badged Sigs and Engineers. Sorry no comparison.
Not to mention Pinkies 50's 30 cal mounted on the best cross country wagons. FB to die for.

Yeah they are good but not the best.

The Basic Brit course is about six weeks. These boys are very good and the course is only six weeks, consider then the Italian GIS whose total training is 10 months

Thanks for the info on Mossad. I know they are a mean bunch. I would figure that this group has the most frustration built up and would be looking to take it out on whomever they can find.
Thus the ruthlessness.
I served in the Army and met a few snipers but I have seen better (shooting wise) with some friends back home. But I do give them credit for their abilities. Also for the ability to get to the point to be able to take the good shot.

I have to say It would be a pretty close tie between the the british SAS and the united states Delta force. Both are very much alike in many aspects and the sometimes train side bye side. Both are great groups but I think delta wins out in the secrecy deparment because there existance has never been stated publicly by the US
