I believe we are contributing to it. But even if we aren't, and this some world wide Green conspiracy to make us look after the planet. I don't care, a global commitment to deal with things that are said to be contributing to climate change is a good thing.

If they try to enslave us as a tool in that process, I will confront that then - Right now we are enslaved to the complete opposite, and that is why AGW has my support (not to mention it is scientifically backed up, where as the evidence to the contrary is shonky and in 99% of cases comes from shonky individuals).

Too... f'ing bad.

Basically, it comes down to a micro vs macro thinking perspective.

Yes we are having a negative effect on the planet...but does that mean we are in fact causing the planet to malfunction?

With our knowledge of the earth's history one would assume that the earth is actually not very hospitable to land dwelling animals.

In fact, we have many "ice ages" and great cataclysyms to remind us of just how fast "normal" can dissapear

To believe we have caused some sort of effect in 100 years of industrialization is just not rational from a macro perspective. Now telling me that 800+ spotless days since 2004 is a sign of the sun starting to change is more believable

Yes, we are killing all the animals, but, do the animals make the earth function? no

If it has come down to micro and macro then it has come down to earth and the same thing...There is nothing new, under the sun.

And who are you? Video is a tool of the media and ruling classes and is used to manipulate society to whatever end. Read the book the Chilling Star which suggests climate change/global warming is driven by cosmic interactions more than human interactions. Consider this in the light that the polar ice caps on Mars are melting and as far as I'm aware there aren't any humans there. Also consider that the first representatives from any academic institution to challenge (attempt to crudely debunk) the concepts put forward in the book were from the University of East Anglia (Climate Gate) and that their calculations/assertions were later criticised by their peers because they did not account for the impact of the Sun and what do you have?

Think this through:

I need to see the end with some sun glasses not to get an eye burn I like joking about it, yes I do, if you are sick of it then you too can joke about it. We will see who has the last laugh, it's control freaks that in a way disgust me and far off to the other side people that do not know how to be responsible. It's always the two teams playing. East Vs West, red VS blue and so on and no we do not have to pick a side, because there is something wrong with the left and something wrong with the right, now clap your hands and make a sound. I never seen 3 or 4 teams playing at the same time in any game.

Make no mistake, the computer simulations have been run on ultra fast computers, you know, the ones IBM and Intel would never tell the public about. I think that whole "project looking glass" is indeed real, minus that sensational story and warp gate BS. I think they have simulated the current direction everything is headed by taking into account population, emissions, geological activity, solar activity, everything and may know its going to all hit the fan soon, hence the doomsday seed vault and DUMB's. Or they see something not quite right with the local neighborhood in space?
