The Assasination of John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy

I am watching a program right now in the History Channel about the Kennedy family and the assasination of John and Robert.

I want to know what you guys think really happened. Where they assasinated by lone crazed gunman or was there something more sinister going on. I want to see what theories you guys have on the subject especially the senior members who may have researched this subject.

John F. Kennedy: I believe the story we know is pretty much the truth -- though there's stuff unaccounted for. I don't believe in another gunman/gunmen. I don't believe the Illuminati are behind it (I don't believe in the Illuminati, and there was no major sweeping social and political change in the months following his death -- certainly no world change.) I find the FBI/CIA/killed Kennedy story hard to swallow.

I do believe there's a connection between Oswald and Russia, though I don't think Russia ordered the assasination (I would, however, believe Oswald doing it to impress Russia and gain money/glory/etc there.)

Robert Kennedy: Well, we did get Sirhan Sirhan (who's still in jail) and in the ensuing years, he hasn't said or confessed or hinted anything indicating there was a cabal or that someone else put him up to it (that I've read... if someone's got good news sources for contrary material, I'd like to read it.)

The Warren Commission SEEMED to do a good job of reviewing the facts. Documents that challenged it (that I read about) never seemed to have any substance behind it (the MJ-12 reports are a very good example.)

I think the assassination was obviously suspicious. There are a million theories, but most are just that, theories. Two theories I have always considered were the mob did it or the Russians somehow may have done it.

With the mob it was probably just as simple as the Kennedy�s biting the hand that fed them. The mob bit back.

Being there seems to be a certain amount of cover up has led me to believe the Russians, in some capacity, were responsible. Rather than accuse them and risk a nuclear war the U.S. just covered it up. One man, albeit the president, wasn�t worth going to war over.

But, who knows/who cares at this point.

It's much more complex than that whole lone gunman thing. Just TRY and sit throught JFK (the film) and listen to what the character of X says. That's the theory I subscribe to the most.

My feeling on it is I think that Oswald was just a scapegoat. There were more people involved.

one theory is that beacuse jfk was reluctant to commit to vietnam they wanted him deadthey being (LBJ,US army etc.) and johnson was willing to commit troops so they killed jfk also jfk's actions in the cuban missile crisi showed his lack of want to attack someone

I did a search on the Kennedy archives on Convertible. Search reports 0 returns. So I think all the information on who pushed the convertable was sealed. One report I found said someone in the white house recomended the convertable. I guess I could go on a limb and say it was the vice president?

Motives.

Bobby Kennedy was going after the mob. The Klu Klux Klan hated Kennedy and they called him a ni**** lover. The defense department hated him cause he was making treaties with Russia but I dont think the defense community would have Kennedy Killed. It would be going out on a limb tio say that the CIA wanted to kill Kennedy. Kennedy went after the communists pretty bad also.

So your people with motives are.

%90 of American Loved Kennedy but he made some real enimies. Id hate to belive the government killed him but many of the archieves are still sealed. They were supposed to be realesed 2 years ago. I think that unfortunately points to the government. If it ever got out people would be outraged the government killed its most beloved president.

Well, look at the facts. JFK had more than three entry wounds, on differant parts of his body. So Os ran from place to place really fast to hit all them? Or maybe Jack Ruby was one and diddent want to get cought when Os copped out. Also, RFK, no clue.

The last time I tried to post this (08/08/02) my access to this site was suspended by 'Liquid Web Inc'.

I was e-mailed a photo a couple of weeks back. It shows JFK's car, a little bit further down the road, seconds after the shooting. The two security agents on the left of the car are looking back over their shoulders, towards the Book Repository (which can be seen in the background).

There are two persons standing near, one looks like Oswold (but isn't) and the other looks like Jack Ruby.
But of course, that's impossible (?) isn't it, because, according to the Warren Commission report, he was miles away at the time. The photo isn't too clear cos it was sent to me as part of a Word document and I have no idea which site it originally came from (a JFK site).

A number of Oswald's ex-army buddies were interviewed about his abilities as a soldier and, according to their statements, he wasn't a particularly good shot.
As an ex-soldier myself, I can state that, to hit a moving target from a distance is not the easiest thing to do at the best of times. It's even harder if you are not a particularly good marksman (like Oswald).

According to Police officer Marrion Baker, he said he saw Oswald in the foyer of the Book Depository, so Oswald couldn't have been on the 6th floor to shoot JFK.

A good source of information for proof that Oswald didn't shoot JFK is a document by Michael T. Griffin.

Another good theory. Os was used as a scapegoat. Not a new one, but still a theory.

Which is why Jack Ruby shot him. Not really Jack Ruby, but someone who probably had a death sentance or life, and given the deal of shoot Os, he goes free. But government crossed him to keep him quite.

oswald was set up by his own gov't to be blame so they could cover their tracks or anything leading to them the conspiracy was real as the stars!

oswald shot the one from the book dipository or how ever u spell it... and jack ruby shot kennedy in the head from a sewer... its obvious... go take a pumpkin and shoot it with a 30/30 and it will fall forward... why... because the back of it is being blown out... as it does in the video..... i say it was both of them but ruby maid the fatal shot.... ok no harrase me cuz i know it will happen

Not me Zig. I think same thing. Jack, Lee, and one other person shot him. Which is why Jack shot Lee. Lee was going to confess, and Jack killed him before he could. Probably the mob.

thank you james i forgot about that part i left out about oswald going to confess and ruby shot him becuase of it... i also think it was the soviet mob that had them both kill jfk and ruby was told to kill him if he was going to rat on the soviets....

Irish folklore (my family being from Ireland) tells me that Kennedy crossed very powerful Catholic leaders in Ireland during the bootlegging operations he ran, he took money that was bound for them and sent it to England to finance his eventual return to American life. Now, Kennedy was a powerful man, killing him would have brought too much media attention to the land/money greedy war mongering catholics of the time, so they informed Joe that instead of killing him, they would take his sons and the sons of sons until they felt the debt was repaid. Joe apparently laughed it off per usual and went about his business. You see where it got him now?

I read somewhere on the web that the Bible predicited the assasination of JFK. It spells out "JFK" "CIA DID IT" but im not to sure about it thou. I will have to look into it myself and see if its true..

I personally believe the government killed J.F.K because of his views and sticking his nose in areas he should'nt have. It really is a shame that he was killed that way, and then covered it up.
