Click photo to enlargeKazer Gusty-Jaques August 2nd at Goose Lake. «12»A "solar tsunami" is heading towards Earth. There was an explosion on the Sun this weekend and a result of this explosion is a wave of energy racing through space called a "solar tsunami" So what does this mean to those of us on Earth? We are in no harm. Experts say the wave of supercharged gas will be buffeted by the natural magnetic shield protecting Earth. What it is likely to do is spark amazing displays of the aurora or northern lights.

We are experiencing a moderate geomagnetic storm as we speak. So far no ATS reports of the Aurora Borealis being visible.

I noticed that my cable was really shaky tonight - the signal looked like it was being messed with. Must have been the solar storm!
