James Randi, via the James Randi Educational Foundation, has offered a $1 million prize for the past 46 years to anyone who can demonstrate psychic or supernatural ability. All you have to do is submit to a controlled, double-blind study.

To date, no one has been able to make it past the preliminary stage, as their guesses, readings, and so on have never surpassed how a typical person would perform by pure chance statistics.

And, oddly enough, the people who are making money off of being "psychic" (Sylvia Browne being the most notable of the scam artists) refuse to submit to any sort of prediction testing. I wonder why?

It is naive to think that just because they do not want to be involved with this "contest" they do not exist.

Would these people really care about a million dollars if they have such power?

Would they even care about money?

So, this isn't some remote location that cannot be found. It is right here in the states, and this person claims that he is ONLY doing what everyone can be doing. This guy is part American Indian, and has been doing this for years. There will be more available soon. And, if you look on that page (psychox642), you will find MULTIPLE examples of pyrokinesis, telekinesis, and weather control. ITS REAL.

Are you kidding me? Here's a guy making kung fu moves and humming at campfires on windy nights. That's it. This is evidence of what? That people can convince others that predicting the behavior of campfires in the wind is a magic super human power?

People with real skills or talent DO not want to pervert it by attaining cash. That's the problem with this society. Everyone wants to bank off of something by exploiting the monetary system, which is, in turn, banking off of people in general. Absolutely sick.

I looks like these kind of people just don't care about anything, for example helping other people with their gifts. What better way to do this is get some good cash and attention and invest it in teaching others? But, ah, they don't care.

If you found anything significant to that it's because you wanted to believe something astonishing. I find it astonishing you would consider that as proof of anything.

It's a guy making kung fu moves and chanting at campfires on a windy night while the wind blows the fire in various directions. There was nothing unusual at all about the videos except the guy putting on a bad mystic act.

So, point me to some scientific papers or research confirming this alleged phenomenon instead of some bad acting on a camcorder during a camping trip.

Who said anything about "perverting it" to gain cash? I asked why they haven't submitted their powers to studies and helped mankind with their abilities? What's the point of having these powers if you aren't sharing your gift with others and helping humanity?

Could it be because they have no powers beyond nifty video editing?
