What's this got to do with the Israeli people? I would bet my head that the majority of Israeli civilians want no war and to live their lives in peace with their neighbors, if you can call them that. Military actions undertaken by Israeli apartheid do not reflect the Israeli zeitgeist... if that were the case then every American would be devil incarnate.

The situation sounds serious... hopefully it doesn't flare up.

This could turn like 1967 when Israeli bulldozers went into Syrian territory and were shot at by Syrian troops... twelve hours later, Israel was rolling against Syria.

I can confirm this as well, there was footage of men trying to extinguish the flames, it looked like an APC.

You are soooo right.

Isreal's 90 mile long 3 mile stretch of property should be given to the Islamic people who control millions of square miles in the middle east. Yes, they defended themselves during the six day war when they were invaded, they should have just accepted defeat instead of taking over almost all of the middle east. And to think those horrible people then gave it back.

And can you believe they actually let the Islam people worship in Jerusalm, they are horrible horrible people.

I got it, maybe we should give the city they built to the Islam people, and put all of the evil Jews in internment camps. Hey, we can even put them in gas chambers and kill as many as possible.

They accused the Israeli soldiers of encroaching on Lebanese territory. When the Israelis replied they had kept to their own side of the border and refused to back down, the Lebanese started shooting.

until the condemnations comes and the acts of wars comes from both sides

What a load of propaganda, I am Lebanese, nobody wants to wipe the Jews from the planet, it's the Israeli GOVERNMENT and their actions that we despise.

Most violent race of people? Excuse me, but have you ever lived in the middle east? My brother who's doing his internship in France has an Israeli colleague, they both get along perfectly.

Since the Israel-Palestine conflict started, the Muslims are being portrayed as monsters who want to convert the "infidels" to Islam, due to the image that fanatics and extremists gave away. Guess what? The extremists are a tiny minority, although a loud one. Stop being fooled into believing this lie, because I am sick of hearing it.

I guess the Leader of Iran saying that he wanted to whipe Isreal off the face of the planet has slipped your mind.

No one believes the situation in the Middle East is good, but why is the world starting to cater to those who have invaded Isreal on 2 occasions, and has used suicide bombs to get their way.

The entire Islam nation nation needs to be nuked till they glow and shot in the dark. They have demonstrated that they have no conern, or compassion for anyone that does not believe the way they do. They are intolerant, and vile.

Even though I don't see what Syria has to do with this skirmish, Syria has left Lebanon since 2005, and since then the relationship between the two countries has evolved. I will never forget what the syrians did during the civil war, but it's called moving on, look at the French and Germans now, after two world wars they were still able to come together again. Why can't we do the same?

I dont think it's over yet, apparently UK press is reporting that a senior IDF officer has been killed and that IAF warplanes hit a LAF army base. This latest rumor i have not seen confirmed anywhere, so take it with some salt.

And yet again i see white phosphorus weapons being used in a Sky news report (website) on the breaking news ticker, they are really trigger happy in using them aren't they?

It is great to see members coming from areas of the world that us westerners like to comment on so much.
