Face on Mars is just a Rocky Mountain [New High Resolution Pictures]

There's been so many conspiracies over this landmark over the last few years on ATS, so many 'contractees' claim it's connected to Ancient Egypt here on Earth. There's even been Mathematics involved in the layout of the structures on the site.

Now a new Photo which was released today 'proves' ('claims' is a more appropriate word) that all it is is a Rocky Mountain.

But I don't buy it, they could do edit these photos these days to make it look like what they want us to see. Not even Photoshop experts could spot any mistakes.

A photograph taken by the American Viking 1 Orbiter in July 1976 appeared to show a hill in shape of a human face on the dusty surface of Mars.
But a new photograph released today, which was taken with Nasa’s high-definition HiRISE camera, finally shows the Face on Mars for what it really is: just a large, rocky hill in the middle of the Martian desert.

Do they really think people are going to buy this?? A little photo shopping and call it High Resolution. With NASA's history of blurring photos that we've all seen here on ATS I don't buy this one either.

Wasn't Hoagland claiming in the late '90s that NASA destroyed the face with a nuclear weapon?

I suppose "photoshopping" and trick photography is the new special pleading...

Without evidence either way, there cannot be a conclusion.

I'll answer it this way. I don't believe we're the only intelligent life out here. So, yeah, why not? All it would take is a change in the Earths orbit and our world could be a waste land, who's to say that's not what "could've" happened to life on Mars?

That conclusion itself is far-off, itself a logical fallacy. The claim is being made that NASA is lying; being there is no evidence of that or even reason to doubt it, we must submit to the null hypothesis, that being that NASA is not lying.

Nope, no evidence. But think about it, you have a "clear" picture that was in my opinion released by accident showing a clear image of a face. For years NASA's been hounded by people about that one photo, so now all of a sudden we get this new Hi Res photo disproving it. Why now?

...HOWEVER, that idea that intelligent life exists elsewhere is a far cry from being evidence that the face on Mars is intelligently built.

True -- there "could have been" alien life on Mars building faces, but you made it sound as if you are positive NASA photoshopped that image to hide the face.

Isn't it usually the accuser's responsibility to back their claims with evidence ?

In this case it's the doubters who need to come up with the evidence to prove that NASA is lying and has faked these images

And what's to say that NASA didn't fake the first image with the actual face just to create media hype in support of more funding to NASA ?

why not believe nasa? in the picture its pretty clear that the only reason it looks anything like a face is because of shadows.

I honestly would'nt buy this with a gift card..Why all of a sudden now would they release this photo that could have been done decade's ago.

I dont even believe that this image was even taken from the cydonia region.. why couldnt they give a hi-res phot of the whole cydonia region wit the face the D&M pyamid and the countless other pyramid looking object's.. this photo doesnt even resemble any of the other images nasa has put forward.the one's from '98 or the one from'01..atleast those look like the mountain but just a distorted version of it like NASA either did hit it with a nuke of just did their airbrushing technique's like they have done many time's in the past.

TPTB are so afraid of us finding out about stuff like this cause they know that everyone would rebel and they would have aboslutely no control over us..

i'm disgusted to say the least.

if they would alter the color's on MARS....Why would they alter image's OF A POSSIBLE FACE ON MARS????

Maybe or maybe not... that the Cydonia face is really a mountain but...a Holy Martian Mountain dedicate to "Alalu" the Hero.
And maybe or maybe not... that this is the real perspective of the face of Alalu the Outcast King.
