NOt saying anything is possible.... Just saying that we are postulating that this "Matrix" theory is fact so just imagine the amount of technology and sophistication needed to fully simulate evreything we see and don't see.

oh im sorry i misinterpreted your post. I thought you were asking our opinions on why a simulation/matrix would or could not be. In that case, an infinite amount of technology would be necessary to sustain such a virtual zoo. computers as we know them now would most definitely not be in use. brain in a vat? LOL

If it were even possible to produce human consciousness inside a computer simulation (regardless of whether we are actually a computer simulation), that mere fact would largely answer the question of life, the universe, and everything.
