Will AB's asteroid fall tomorrow?
Just say ya or nay!

What a silly thread.

Have you not seen Armageddon? Bruce Willis or George W Bush himself would be in space right now saving us if there was a threat.

I think there is a better chance of GW speaking actual English than this: NAY

Well, is this a fair question? I mean, ok, if it does not fall, then you make fun of everyone. If it does hit and send the climate and world into utter chaos, then you get out of the ridicule because of too many end of the world parties.... hmmm Is that fair? Well, there is only 1 yes, so I will second that... haha But, you have to PROVE to me that not even a pebble size one did not hit somewhere in the world even in some remote desert. Good luck...

I sure hope not it is my sons 16th birthday and we are leaving on vacation. Will they still charge me for reservations if the asteroid hits between here and there?

Well, first, you will need to check the cancellation charge. You certainly do not want the end of the world coming about without paying the bill.

Well, just tell you son that the comet is his real birthday present.

YAY............three strikes on the big blue marble in the past two weeks....the largest the size of a house. I guess you could say he was right and just missed it by one day..........is that glass half full or half empty.

I'm going to say 'yay' even though I know that there is no rational reason for doing so... It's just that there's no charm in being in the majority when something obvious happens (or doesn't happen)... But there's a certain mystique in betting on a proposition you know has a one in a million chance of being right......

An asteroid the size of a house hit the Earth last week?

Where?

Now, it's June 18th, 2004, 9:48AM in South Australia and no sign of dust clouds or asteroids yet

interesting... was aussie bloke, within the context of his story, thinking in terms of American or Australian time? His (fictional) persona was australian, yet he was talking about info he claimed to have gotten from American sources, right (sorry, I stopped reading that thread when it started to look too fake)?

YEs, I think we should ask the govt to make a mass distribution of WaterRings and the circular flotation devices with animals on them. I hope they do not distribute the old boring ones in only different colors....

I mean if we are to swim for a few months, should make it enjoyable.
