I'm a Southern gentleman who likes his music loud, so naturally Southern Rock is one of my favorite styles. There doesn't seem to be an existing thread dedicated to this wonderful genre, so I figure it's time to make one.

Please post your favorites, take a moment to listen to the favorites of the other posters and have fun. The harder side of Country Music counts as well, so feel free to post that too. No Kid Rock, Please.

Lived in the great state of Georgia for 7 years and got to love that music. Here's some guitar work that drops my jaw.

Not what you were expecting I bet...

This is what south sounds like when you add Black Sabbath, some hardcore, with a good dose of Nihilism and misanthropy

He has a different style but still, a chip off the old block. I don't know how he plays such soulful music with no expression on his face. -I'd be worse then Jonny Lang.

I really like the whole album (yeah I'm old) the one below is from.

Cool. I'd heard Southern Discomfort before, but the other 3 are new to me. I like it.

That is a good one. Good going-on-a-long-drive music.

Thank y'all both for the replies.

If we're gonna include Primus and Eyehategod...

We gotta include Pantera, too.
