The number that haunts me

Hello everyone, I am here to try and see if I can get a rational explanation as to why I see the number 420. This is not a joke, I do not see this number due to any plants or what not. This is serious. I see this number every single day. It is non stop. Even though it does not bother me, I think it maybe a sign of some sort. This number didn't start showing up until 4 years ago. Can anyone help me out?

Mine is 4. No matter what - I see that number everywhere and mostly in threes like "444."

What do you mean you see 420? Like, where else besides the clock do you see the number?

Like you, I see the number 141 a helluva lot.

Not just lately, either.

For a lifetime.

Places I lived, airplane I flew, etc.

i always look at my clock @ 9:11, 11:11 and 1:11.
at least these times are a lot more noticeable than all the other times..

I always miss 4:20.. and I watch for that :p



Also, Wife and myself named our son a name we thought was semi- obscure.
After his birth the name showed up so much it was crazy.

Ohhh and when I got my last car. No one had them.. until I got it.. then they were everywhere.

Well, 42 is the answer to life, the Universe and everything.
That's it, you're God.

On a serious note, the more you tell yourself that you're seeing this number everywhere the more you will see it.

You see numbers everywhere everyday, probably the same set of numbers alot of times a day, but you don't realise it.
Since you have singled out "420", your brain will consciously store all the times you see this number, rather that just subconsciously seeing it.

Brains are prone to patterns and patterns are easy to recognise. You have created yourself a pattern (don't ask me how) which is 420 and now everytime you see it, you'll recognise it.

I bet you also see the number 341 alot too, but you just don't see it as having a meaning and your brain dismisses it.

Brains are funny things.

Thanks guys, it's no biggie but I was just wondering if there was some meaning behind it. Something that I might have not known about.

Mine is lately 12, I will see 12:12, 1:12, 2:12, 3:12 just now, 4:12, etc you get it. Always on the clock and once in my dreams last night.

I too see the number 420 everyday. My son was born on 4/20. I have searched everywhere trying to figure out its significance, if any. I've only come across the usual pot smoker's reference.

It's everywhere, I see that number non-stop.
