(op ed) If the US and Israel could take out Iran wouldn't they have done it already?

Come on people, like the US and Israel had some change of heart on how they dealt with problem countries. Like there was some restraint or new understanding, or some sympathy for the affected.

The US and Israel haven't attacked Iran because they can't use DU munitions or low level nukes. What do you think? Please give an opinion.

We have reached the point of supremecy where we must create threats to justify the grotesque mil/industrial complex expenses.

I really don't know why Israel hasn't attacked them yet, especially after how Netanyahu was talking on Larry King Live. Perhaps they would want to be sure the US would really join in and back them.
As far as CAN they? (US & Israel together) I have absolutely no doubt the two combined would be able to defeat Iran.
I honestly think if anything, it is the US that might be holding things up.

Let's see, Afghanistan, Iraq, now Pakistan. Threatening Iran, looks like a modern day religious war. But the US is not really a Christian country.

This makes no sense.

Israel has the "Samson" option if attacked by Arabs. But so does Russia. If Russia felt it was going to fall, where would the last of it's SS-18's be targeted for?

Maybe the US and Israel know any attack on Iran may end with the use of nuclear weapons..Either by Iran or Israel...

Leaving the region uninhabitable for years to come.

This would hinder their plans for all the oil and natural resources they seek.

If Iran REALLY wants to turn the USA and everywhere else in to an Islamic Paradise By Force, well...they might want to start at home.
